๐Ÿ‘‹ Introduce yourself right here!
This is the introductions thread. Say hi, tell us where youโ€™re from and what youโ€™re all about! In your introduction, answer these 3 questions: โžก๏ธ What is your current music project and vision? โžก๏ธ What moment made you want to pursue being a rock singer? โžก๏ธ What's the main thing holding you back? We canโ€™t wait to meet you!

Hi! Iโ€™m new here and new to this style singing. I am classically trained and have done musical theater and gospel, but I have students wanting to learn scream and growl. Any advice and help would be great! I would normally refer them to someone else, but there are no teachers in the area.

Thank you that is so helpful!
Vocal Harmony Voice Leading
With some help from Draven I have added some vocal harmonies to the first pre-chorus in this tune. I feel like I am struggling with getting a clear resonant sound and getting the emotional impact in there. I don't think I am falling back into speech mode, as is easy to do when singing well below my break. But perhaps I am again and can't tell. I also plan to put a bit more edge in the chorus vocals ("You're not prepared to know how much I love you") section. And the vocal performance overall needs a lot more attention to details. But it will be nice to at least have the remaining sections of vocal harmony scored.

Yeah the harmonies are good, I would say be carful how you sing the vowel for example โ€œround and downโ€ are a bit too narrow making it not blend well with the harmonies. With harmony how you sing the vowel can really affect the tuning of it.
