Tofu ideas?
So I was wondering, does anybody have like a favorite tofu recipe? They wanna share I feel like sometimes I get into a rut and I kind of cook the same thing over and over again one because it’s easy too because I can get lazy but honestly, I kind of feel bored with everything I eat lately so if you have a favorite recipe, you think it’s fire share it I would be eternally grateful

@Kian Mokhtarian this is horrible. These are all the things I can’t have now.
GERD
So I have developed GERD. I woke up from sleep with vomit in my mouth. I have been having issues but didn’t connect the dots. Has anyone here been diagnosed with Gerd and if so, what have you done to help with your symptoms?

@Sam Gullo I know and this is what kills me because I love tomatoes. I know most people will snack on like grapes or fruit, but I snack on cherry tomatoes. Well not anymore I guess.

@Kian Mokhtarian yeah so I’ve had to cut out a lot of my favorite things coffee, tomatoes, spicy food, vinegar foods. If I eat any of those, I will puke shortly after if I drink something that doesn’t agree with me let’s say I have to reach down to grab a shoe off the floor or put my head down at all it regurgitates back up, not fun at all
What was the MOMENT you went vegan?
I figure this is something we have all told before, but with a lot of new members it would be great to share! I went vegan at 13 years old in the car on the way to middle school. I was already vegetarian since age 10 and my mom wanted to help teach me some new recipes. She bought me a PETA magazine. There was an article saying “Vegetarian isn’t enough”. I was upset. Because I thought I was doing all I could. Before I was 2 paragraphs deep I realized I had to go vegan for the same reasons I went vegetarian. I couldn’t pay for babies to be taken from their mothers and then killed regardless. That was 20 years ago. I’ll hit my 21st year soon. Best decision ever. What was your moment? And if you haven’t listened already I strongly urge you to check out our podcast here: https://vegansquadcoaching.com/vegansquadpod

Had a rough childhood, went hungry A lot. Ate mostly salads ( lettuce) and vegetables up until my daughter was born. She ended up being allergic to to meat so it wasn’t much of stretch for me to not eat meat or cheese.

@Miriam Schiro when I found out my daughter was allergic to me. I did some research and I had PETA send me a video and some information.. I have always had an affinity with animals all animals, and that has never changed and never will. I prefer animals to people most of the time.

I am so excited to be a part of this group. I’m hoping to find a family of like-minded individuals who will support and lift each other up and be there for one another, and let’s get fit too. I wanna build muscle. I wanna be strong and healthy. That is my goal and I am determined to reach it.
Gratitude
I just wanna say thank you John and Mya for being so gracious and giving me this opportunity. I am going to take full advantage of this month. Thank you again.
