Most people never really think about this. They just put money wherever they were told to put it. So let's say you have $1,000 every month that you want to use to build wealth. Where does it go? Savings account? 401(k)? Stocks? Real estate? Your business? IUL? Whole Life? Here's the thing... There isn't ONE perfect answer. Because every bucket does a different job. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📈 STOCKS + RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS Great for long-term growth. A 401(k) can be especially valuable when you're getting an employer match. But the market goes up and down, access can be limited depending on the account, and traditional retirement distributions can create taxable income later. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏠 REAL ESTATE + YOUR BUSINESS I LOVE assets that can produce income and build wealth. But they're not always liquid. If you need $30,000 next week, selling a property or part of your business probably isn't the easiest answer. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💵 CASH Everyone should have access to liquid money. But keeping ALL of your long-term money sitting in cash creates another problem. You may be sacrificing long-term growth potential. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏦 THEN THERE'S PERMANENT LIFE INSURANCE This is the bucket most people don't understand. A properly structured IUL or Whole Life policy can potentially give you something completely different. 💰 Cash value accumulation 🏦 Access to available cash value through policy loans ❤️ Living benefits on certain policies for qualifying illnesses 📈 Another potential source of retirement cash flow 👨👩👧 A death benefit for your family 🧾 Tax advantages when properly structured and managed And depending on your goals, Whole Life and IUL can be designed very differently. Whole Life may appeal more to someone who values guarantees, predictability, and an Infinite Banking strategy. IUL may appeal more to someone looking for greater index-linked accumulation potential while protecting against negative index crediting. Neither is automatically "better."
