Introduction
👋 Hi everyone! John here, from Merritt Island on Florida's Space Coast 🚀. I already said hi in the "Where Is Everyone From" thread, but wanted to do a proper intro too. 📚 I've been self-publishing since 2012 (18 books across a few pen names and genres, started with a cookbook that hit bestseller status my first year out) and I'm here to get sharper on marketing and visibility since that's still where I have the most to learn. I also built a tool that helps me get my manuscript ready to publish. Happy to help where I can!

Translation in other language(s)
Does anyone know a good (free) tool for translation? In the past I wrote a LOT in Dutch and I would like to translate these texts in English (because Amazon.com does not deal with Dutch books) Love to know! Thank you!😃

@Lara Knutzen Good idea. My texts are spiritual and sometimes I have used words that don't even exist so not sure how to translate these. I will ask for a good custom spiritual text translator 😅

❤️ Family Comes First
👋 Hey everyone, I wanted to give you a quick update in case you notice I'm a little quieter than usual this week. Last night I spent about six hours in the ER with my son after he started having asthma-related breathing issues. We're heading back to the doctor today for a follow-up, and right now my main focus is helping him rest and get back to feeling like himself. It breaks my heart that he got sick so soon after celebrating his birthday. Because of that, responses to messages, video reviews, and a few other community tasks may be delayed by a day or so. I appreciate your patience and understanding while I put my family first for the moment. I'm hoping today's appointment brings us some reassuring news and that he's on the road to a quick recovery. Thank you all for your kindness and support. It truly means a lot. ❤️

Great idea! ♨️ Here comes the output Chatty made for me: "Based on the themes that have come up in our conversations—building your business, showing up consistently, growing your confidence in sales, and not letting self-doubt keep you from taking action—the one book I would put at the top of your reading list is: The Mountain Is You by Brianna Wiest This isn't a sales book. It's a book about the internal obstacles that quietly keep capable people from becoming the person they're trying to become. And that's why I think it's the right next read. Here are 5 reasons I think you need this book 1. It helps you recognize self-sabotage before it costs you opportunities. As you've worked on growing your business, one recurring challenge has been building consistent confidence. This book explains why our brains often protect us by avoiding discomfort—even when that discomfort leads to growth. Instead of simply saying "be more confident," it teaches you how to identify what's actually driving hesitation. 2. It shifts your focus from perfection to progress. One of the strongest ideas in your sales materials is that confidence comes from action, not from feeling ready. Your own Magnetic Sales Formula emphasizes exactly that: fear is a signal to stretch, and confidence is built by taking uncomfortable action. This book reinforces that mindset from a different angle, making the lesson stick. 3. It will make your content feel more authentic. People connect with honesty far more than polished perfection. Many of your training resources encourage sharing your story and building trust through authenticity rather than trying to look flawless. Reading this book will likely deepen your own self-awareness, which naturally translates into more relatable posts, stories, and conversations. 4. It helps you become emotionally resilient. Building an online business means hearing "no," getting ignored, and having posts flop sometimes. This book helps you stop interpreting those moments as personal failures and start seeing them as part of the process—a mindset that aligns well with the consistent action your business training encourages.
