Lesson 1 is live!
I’ve just uploaded the first video: Standing, Weight Shifting & Stepping. These can be viewed in the Classroom. This lesson lays the foundations for everything that follows. The movements are simple, but there’s a lot going on underneath, so take your time with it and feel free to return to it often. There’s no need to rush or try to perfect anything - just explore and notice what you feel. Going forward, I’ll be posting: - A new lesson every Tuesday - A short recap/refresher video each week The idea is to give you something steady and manageable to work with, and a chance to revisit key points without overload. If you have questions, notice something interesting, or feel a bit stuck - that’s all part of the process. Feel free to share or ask in the comments. You can click on Classroom to find the lessons, or this link: https://www.skool.com/the-traditional-tai-chi-method-8085/classroom/b90d9f80?md=72c80027af964506a0e0039c1a455531 Glad to have you here and practicing together. What Brought You to Tai Chi?
If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d love to know what brought you here. You might be: - Feeling stiff or tense - Looking for a calmer way to move - Curious about traditional martial Tai Chi - Returning to practice after a break There’s no right or wrong reason. Simply leave a short comment below. Reading each other’s experiences helps shape this community.

My story is the cliché but true. I'm currently experiencing a death & rebirth of my entire psyche since 2018. I personally enjoy philosophy, culture and personal growth (even when it's painful). I've slowly but surely started studying the Tao te Ching (Dao de Ching). As I learn more of Tao, my breathe work and meditations have become consistent & deeper. Energy work/practice was a natural next step for me with Tai Chi, Qi gong and a little bit of Kung Fu. The Chinese truly have had this beautiful, wholesome system for the betterment of mankind in a world of darkness. I weighed 388 lbs and borderline diabetic. I'm currently 250 lbs: I'm still out of shape and I have physical injuries that keep me humble, but I see the light as long as I keep myself disciplined, and moving (flowing) with life. Here's a picture of me with my beautiful family on Christmas of 2025 (fyi: not my house, it's my cousin's beautiful home & tree).

Hi, I'm Ralf. I'm a husband & father of 4 beautiful children. I just started my path to self-alchemy. The Tao te Ching is for me.
