Wish me luck
I have HYROX Houston this weekend. Looks like Saturday evening. I’ll be driving down there from Dallas Friday and stay the night. Utilizing our interval training has got me far. I’ve crushed the first two and am on to my third and soon my solo debut in NEW YORK! 🎼 concrete jungle wet dream tomatos🎵 At any rate I’ve been incorporating more jump rope and running 🏃 into my trading cause let’s totally destroy my HR so when game day comes we coast through the motions. Let’s here what has a competition of any kind coming up???

Hyrox training.
Hey coach!! I see all the content you post on your experiences with Hyrox and I can’t help but feel fomo!🤣 I want to sign up for my first event, but due to my competitive nature, I need to train for this before I do. Do you have any training splits in preparation for the Hyrox? Any tips, suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for being my inspiration on starting something new!

Let’s talk sandbags
This is the foundation. If we’re serious about building raw, transferable power, we start with the sandbag. Not because it’s trendy. Not because it’s fun. Because it tells the truth. A sandbag exposes your hinge, your posture, your ability to produce force without perfect balance or mechanical assistance. You can’t cheat it. You either load correctly, brace correctly, and move it with intent or it folds you. That’s exactly why it matters here. I’m not interested in working around it or skipping ahead. It’s non-negotiable for this academy. The sandbag teaches you how to use your back, hips, and core the way they’re supposed to work together. Once that’s in place, everything else opens up. Kettlebells get sharper. Clubs and maces make more sense. Landmine work becomes explosive instead of sloppy. But without the sandbag first, you’re building on sand. So here’s what I need from everyone before we move forward. Comment and tell me what you have access to. 50 lbs. 75 lbs. 100 lbs. If you don’t have one yet, say that too. This isn’t gatekeeping. It’s standards. We start here, we earn the right to branch out, and we build real strength from the ground up.

I do not own any sandbags myself but I’m part of a few gyms that do. I have access to them in many different weights and sizes. Excited to get started

I see everyone who’s already in here. I know it’s quiet right now. That’s fine. I’m building this thing across every platform I touch, but this space is where the real work is going to live. This is where I’m putting my heart and my soul because this is the community that actually matters to me. The ones who show up early. The ones who don’t need a finished product to believe in the direction. Stick around. Watch it grow. Engage when something hits you. This school is going to turn into something powerful and I want the people who are here right now to be the ones who say they were here when it was just getting built.
