Read this if you feel behind.
Quick truth: There is no "behind" in this challenge. That's a story your brain made up the moment you missed a day. And I get it. We are world-class at turning one missed session into a full-blown identity crisis. "I always do this." "I never finish anything." "Why did I even sign up." Stop and breathe for a minute.. Read the next line slowly: The challenge is not a train you missed. It's a room you can walk into whenever you're ready. Everything is still in the classroom. And the funny things is: Almost everyone misses a day. But what about the people with those big transformations? They're the ones who fell off as well. Felt the shame. And came back anyway. That is the rep that matters. That's the one that rewires you. Because every time you've quit something in the past, you taught your nervous system one thing: "We don't finish things." Today you get to teach it the opposite. Open the classroom. Press play on the next session. That's it. That's the whole task. Your transformation report is waiting on the other side of the questions. You're not behind. You're exactly where the comeback starts. πŸ’› Jim

I guess i misunderstood the assignment. I thought that even if we were unable to join the cohort that we'd still have access to our assessment in our library. I don't have a library anymore or i don't know how to access it. Please advise.

Thanks Jim. My son didn't even send that wish to me. I appreciate this & everything else you do to help us. You ROCK my friend!
#worrybox
I want to share with everyone something I do when worrying about things. It literally has kept me from living in a constant state of panic attack. I have a small wooden box & when I start to worry about something I write it down on a piece of paper, fold it & drop it in the box. I do this Sunday thru Friday. Write it down & keep going without thinking about that issue again knowing that i'll come back to it on Saturday. Saturdays is when I take the pieces out & read them. If it's still something to worry about I make a Pros/Cons list to try to come up with solution. Usually 70-80% of the time I end up laughing thinking, "Why in the world was I worried about that?" Not to say that a "Worry Box" would work for everyone, but I hope this idea helps at least 1 person that reads about it here. I hesitated to post this but my report said that it was "a brilliant tool for cognitive behavior therapy." So I just had to share my tool with everyone. I hope someone finds it useful.

@Peggy Walman my pleasure. If ever there's anything on anything I've posted that would benefit someone....please feel free to take & share. It takes a village...😁

@Renee Kers you're very welcome. Give it a week or 2 to help. You may want to make some adjustments to personalize it for yourself. Let me know how it works for you.❀️
#why have i been lying to myself
Just realized the story I've been telling myself - that I "can't MAKE myself do it no matter how hard I try" - is being contradicted in real time by the fact that I'm hyperfocusing through this entire assessment. Both can't be true. One of them is a lie I've been carrying, and I'm about to find out which one.

@Melody Vi after a bit of rewiring I might make it now. Lol this whole experience has opened my mind & heart up to so much more. Finding out that I already have the tools & how to apply them...OH MY SO EMPOWERING!!! I feel unstoppable right now. Now i'm curious to see if when I hit that 1st wall again, will I use my tools or get paralyzed again? I've been given the info, applying it may be different story but as of now my superpower is FRESH KNOWLEDGE!!
#1 needs oxygen & the other doesn't
Section 2 of the Awakening Assessment just showed me something I missed: the child in me who picked the brightest boldest colors and the adult who learned to "just exist and try to do the right thing" are not the same person. I've been calling survival mode "authenticity," and apparently those are two very different things.

@Melody Vi thanks so much. I finished this am. I hyperfocused & dug in & completed it. It still took me all night but was so worth it after getting my final portrait. Can't say that I've ever experienced results of any kind bringing me to tears until now. I admit I cried several times. This entire experience has so empowering for me!

58yo recently diagnosed with ADHD. It has explained so many things & added so many questions all at the same time. Looking for some direction...
