💗Share Your Experience with the I Ching Divination Foundations Course
Hi everyone, If you have found the I Ching Divination Foundations Course helpful, I would be very grateful if you shared a few words about your learning experience below. You might mention: • Your background before joining the course • Which lesson, case, or resource has been most useful • What part of I Ching divination has become clearer • Who you think would benefit from this course You do not need to answer every question. A few specific sentences about what you found valuable would be greatly appreciated. Your experience helps future students understand what the course actually offers and supports our work in systematically bringing traditional Chinese I Ching divination to international learners. As our student community grows to a sustainable size, I will also consider reinvesting in additional learning support, including a trained teaching assistant who can help with course-related technical questions and support students as they work through the curriculum. This thread is specifically for sharing learning experiences. Course questions and case discussions can continue in their appropriate discussion areas. Thank you for learning with us and helping this community grow! 😄

regarding: • Your background before joining the course long time i ching user, strong mathematical research into the Yi linking structure to the work of Shao Young. Present research: ontology of divination in general. • Which lesson, case, or resource has been most useful The current lesson (7) because it brings together BaZi and Yi • What part of I Ching divination has become clearer do not be hasty in drawing conclusions based on the text of the Yi alone • Who you think would benefit from this course This is difficult, it is a very niche topic in Europe I know only one person, but he already knows the material and is shifting his attention to the history of the Yi text. As a general remark: there are many sources (skool, substack, discor and the website) This is a bit too much why should we discuss on the discord while at the meantime we can also discuss at skool?

Next week’s lesson is: Lesson 2: From Royal Divination to Image-Number Thinking We will explore the early development of Chinese divination and some of the foundational concepts of Chinese civilization, including the Yellow River Chart, the Luo River Writing, the Eight Trigrams, the Five Elements, and image-number thinking. Thank you again for your support. Study well and keep progressing. See you next Wednesday!

where can we discuss the study material? looking at the carefull choice of words I get the feeling there are subtle differences between Six Line tradition and Wen Wang Qua. Am I right that Six Lines is including Na Jia and Wen Wang Gua, and is building a broader body of work on I Ching and Chinese metaphysics, so WWG is a subset?
