The breath hold does not lie. If there is one thing you can train, that does not cost anything, and is available to you at any time, it's the breath hold. Whenever you need a reset, prepare yourself for a difficult moment, or get wake yourself up, hold your breath. It does not have to be long. It can be a minute. maybe even 30 seconds. The thing is... once you make the breath hold part of your routine. A quick hold becomes a gentle push... a nudge... instead of a challenge. This Sunday, Stig explained exactly how you can implement the Breath Hold in your daily life. And how you can continue to improve your holds over time. Catch the replay below 👇

What is the fastest way to reset the nervous system? It's something we call Relax on Demand, or 1:2 Breathing. The key is in the exhale. By extending the exhale, you give your body permission to shift to resting mode. Throw a few of these before your breath holds,, and watch the numbers go up. (and feel amazing in the mean time). Ready to give it a try? Step 1: Watch the video Step 2: Breathe like Stig for a few cycles. Stee 2: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 3: Post your time here, get feedback and points Step 4: Head on over to the Classroom for the rest of the challenge. Let's go & double your breath hold! 🧑‍🏫

When the contractions hit, how do you even stay relaxed? @Mark DePonzi is asking the right questions. Staying calm when the going gets tough needs a little bit more. Enter imagery. A study shows that motor imagery has a positive impact on breath hold times. How would this look in practice? You wouldn't expect it: it is imaging that you are breathing. Sensing the motions of taking a normal breath. During your hold. The golden ticket to a new personal best? Let us know 👇
