How to find "the one" without a wali.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmetullah wa barakatu by beloved sisters 💖. I'm so happy that you clicked on my post, and I wish you'll share your insights on what I am about to say. I really need some opinions, thoughts, advices and so on. So just as I am opening up and sharing with you a part of my journey would i really appriciate if you just could share your thoughts on it. Wa Jazakallahu khayrokom, Ameen 🤲🥰 Okay, so first do I want to say, that one can not get married without a Wali. So that part is pretty obligatory, just putting it out there so noone gets confused by my title. My to main obstcals that is preventing me of getting married is: First and foremost, I don't have a wali (right now, but in sha Allah ta'ala, Allah will provide me with one). The second thing is, that right now am I not actively searching for my future husband. But I am somewhat ready - the part that is missing for me (that I know of besides the wali-part) is that I have totally no idea how to talk to men, I can't read them, I don't understand them (the psycologicy of men), and yet how to understand if he is a match for me, are we compatible etc., and most of the time am i so uncomferteble in the precense of a man (that is not my mahram) that I really don't concentrate on the important things. And in sha allah khair. So yes, I am here to, hopefully, fix that part in me, if not fix it, then finding sulotions, ways or/and tools to deal with it, with success in sha Allah. Because to be completely honest doesn't I even want to talk to any man by my own, Alhamdullilah (so maybe I don't want to "fix it", but get the sulotions and tools to get by either way). 🌸 So this is my plan to deal with the abcense of a wali: Alhamdullilah Ramadan is coming, it's just around the corner, and a part of my ramadan will i use to meet sisters in the mousqe in sha Allah, for the sake of Allah. Not to sneak a peak at the men there or to gets noticed by any - but to expand my circle of sisters that i know for the sake of Allah.

Assalamualaikum! I totally feel you– like all of this is so relatable to me. I have potential wali's but I am a little worried about their reaction if I asked to be my wali, as they are the men on my mother's side. I need to double check on the ruling if that is permissible, but my father's side of my family are all non-muslim so that's out of the question. But I'm also extremely shy... and I can be kind of a hopeless-romantic, so I'm worried I'll get too emotionally fixated on a man before I really understand who he is. "Rose-tinted" glasses they say haha. So that is why, right now as I'm preparing to look, I want to get all my logical and compatibility questions down and ensure my wali is firm on screening the man... as well as know the type of guy I'm looking for. That being said, it's difficult out here sis. Josefin but inshallah, Al-Hakim will make it easy for us (praying your istikhara once you've made your choice will bring you peace, inshallah.) May Allah bless you with the man of your dreams sister, whom will be the coolness of your eyes and bring you closer to Allah. Aamiin. 💖✨🤲

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh! My name is Princess and I am from the USA, but originally born in Indonesia. I joined this community to further prepare myself for marriage, inshallah. I also hope to gain wisdom from the other sisters in this group. My fun fact is that I have a sister with the exact same name as me, and our nicknames are P1 and P2, haha. Excited to be here with everyone!!
