How to find "the one" without a wali.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmetullah wa barakatu by beloved sisters 💖. I'm so happy that you clicked on my post, and I wish you'll share your insights on what I am about to say. I really need some opinions, thoughts, advices and so on. So just as I am opening up and sharing with you a part of my journey would i really appriciate if you just could share your thoughts on it. Wa Jazakallahu khayrokom, Ameen 🤲🥰 Okay, so first do I want to say, that one can not get married without a Wali. So that part is pretty obligatory, just putting it out there so noone gets confused by my title. My to main obstcals that is preventing me of getting married is: First and foremost, I don't have a wali (right now, but in sha Allah ta'ala, Allah will provide me with one). The second thing is, that right now am I not actively searching for my future husband. But I am somewhat ready - the part that is missing for me (that I know of besides the wali-part) is that I have totally no idea how to talk to men, I can't read them, I don't understand them (the psycologicy of men), and yet how to understand if he is a match for me, are we compatible etc., and most of the time am i so uncomferteble in the precense of a man (that is not my mahram) that I really don't concentrate on the important things. And in sha allah khair. So yes, I am here to, hopefully, fix that part in me, if not fix it, then finding sulotions, ways or/and tools to deal with it, with success in sha Allah. Because to be completely honest doesn't I even want to talk to any man by my own, Alhamdullilah (so maybe I don't want to "fix it", but get the sulotions and tools to get by either way). 🌸 So this is my plan to deal with the abcense of a wali: Alhamdullilah Ramadan is coming, it's just around the corner, and a part of my ramadan will i use to meet sisters in the mousqe in sha Allah, for the sake of Allah. Not to sneak a peak at the men there or to gets noticed by any - but to expand my circle of sisters that i know for the sake of Allah.

@Layan B it must be very difficult, may Allah protect you and make it easier, Ameen. It's difficult to have different values while everyone think you're right. Yesterday did I take my daughter to the first ever class in the Mousqe for her, and while there was some free mixing there did I never feel comfortable enough to take off my niqab, some women / teachers of some of the different classes there came to me and started asking about why I am muslim. And in the end of the discussion did they tell me to take off my niqab (not only that evening but like forever). It's not the first time Muslims come to me and tells me to stop doing a certain kind of worship, sometimes if I do voluntary fasting, my modest clothing and even giving the poor people a small amount of money ( amongst other things, but these are the most common things Muslims tells me to stop doing). And every time does it really breaks my heart, and while I love them for the sake of Allah, they are my sister's in islam do I feel I bit of relief that they're strangers still. Because not sharing the same values really makes one feel that I am not included and not welcomed. May Allah forgive me for my weaknesses and this way of expressing myself, thinking and feeling. What I wanted to say about this that I can't imagine the hardship to experience this in the daily life with a close family member that is a member of the muslim ummah. You are so strong and Allah loves you so much. He made you a strong believer with a solid faith because he wants to see you in Jennah. The test is surely something challenging. I love to think about prophet Josef when I experience situations like this. He was being of he same ummah as his brothers, still they put him through the worst hardships. Subhanallah May Allah make it easier for you and higher your rank in jennah and guide everyone around you on the straight path, Ameen 🤲 🩷 ✨

✨ Dua Changes Your Story and You
So many sisters make dua for a righteous spouse, but we sometimes forget that dua doesn’t just bring the right person… it changes us too. One sister shared, “When I really started making dua, I felt pushed to fix my salah, my habits, and my character. I realized Allah SWT wasn’t only preparing my spouse He was preparing me as well.” Dua isn’t instant magic. It’s a journey. As you keep asking for good, Allah SWT slowly shapes your heart so you can actually receive it. What’s one dua you regularly make about marriage?

Ya Allah, give me a husband that is beloved to you. Someone that is consistent on his rememberence on You (Allah), in private and in the open. That act upon Islam from his heart, speech and actions. That will love me for the sake of you (Allah). Oh Allah the greatest love we (people) have is the love we got for you and dedicate for your cause.

@Mubeena Banu I understand you, and i totally agree, it is so difficult to take rational decisions and act accordingly when one is attatched already. Ofcourse you want to tell him if you already have those types of feelings and i understand that you're not ready to give up on him already. I can't tell you what to do, but I can only tell you what i think would work best for me and my akhira. May Allah protect both you and me from the whispers of shaitan, ameen. But personally do i think that 2 years is a very long period of time to stay connected to a non-mahram for an "we'll maybe get married" kind of situation. But hey, that's just me, i don't even have a wali yet and therefore isn't even activly searching for a husband yet, mashallah tabarak Allah you're so many steps ahead of me. I will tell you the only senario that i can think of right now where i would be ready to wait for 2 years: first and foremost if me and the potential husband would never have any direct contact. Everyhting would need to go through a third part. My wali or perhaps a female family member of his. Then would i need to not have any unnecessary contact, no chit-chatting, no flirting, no going back and forward about things. I would need to know if the wait is simply because "he is not ready yet", "or the timing isn't just right" or if there is a practical actual reason. Because why would i've gotten in contact with (through a third party) in the first place if he isn't ready anyways for marriage? Then what was the point of invest time, efforts and attatchments if it was just to say that he will keep me on hold? Then my wiswas would go like "is he keeping me on hold because he want to see if there are better fishes out there on the ocean, because after all he was having his fishing rod wanting to get a bite". I wish you the best success and happiness, may Allah grant it to you, ameen. Again, I am no expert, this is just my take on it. A divorced single-mother who just as you are totally wanna learn from @Mindful Muslimah, may Allah be pleased with her, ameen. Maybe i am totally wrong, this is just my interpretation.

@Sherifatu Ayuba oh subhanallah you totally flatter me. May Allah make me better than what you think of me, Ameen. Anything good that I've said is from the will of Allah and any mistakes that I've might say is from my own weaknesses, errors and misleading from the Shaitan. May Allah protect us all Ameen. Your words are very generous, may Allah reward you generously Ameen 🤲 🩷
