Introducing Myself: Starting a Home Care Agency in PA – Excited to Connect!
Hello everyone! I’m Pranav, and I just joined the group. I’m excited to be starting a home care agency here in PA. Right now, we're halfway through the filing process and eagerly awaiting approvals to join provider networks. Looking forward to learning and connecting with all of you!

Yes I have gotten my state license approved! However, still eagerly waiting on approvals to join provider networks. All the applications have been submitted so just waiting on them. @Mariam Dawood

Hey @Alan Nerk and @Fuad Olowo , the journey has been good so far. Getting the MCO approval was a bit difficult and had to wait over a year for that. I would consider hiring someone to handle the contracting stuff. While you wait for your approval, I’d look into private care as well.
Opportunity: Customer Seeking Home Care Services in Ashburn, Virginia
Hi everyone, I have a potential customer in Ashburn, Virginia, seeking services. Unfortunately, my agency cannot operate in Virginia, so I’m sharing this in case anyone is interested. The customer requires daily service for 8 hours, including bathing, housekeeping, and other ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). Please let me know if you’re interested!

Strategies for Managing Last-Minute Caregiver Cancellations
I have a question regarding last-minute cancellations by caregivers. If a caregiver cancels a scheduled care visit that was booked weeks in advance, what steps can we take to prevent this situation? Additionally, if we can’t find a backup caregiver, how should we best support the patient or client in this scenario? Thank you for your insights!

Placement agent and revenue growth
This picture is from my email to one of our top placement agents that has been with me since January. As you can see she has tripled my clients and revenue since I opened my doors. And this is just one placement agency. I have two more! The other one brought in $31,000 last month and this month we sent them their fees for brining in $78,000-IN ONE MONTH. They 2x us in 30 days. Get resources, get help, pay higher finders fees-especially in the beginning. But also bring the value and quality. This wasn’t effortless on my part, I have a team and clients to keep accountable and to keep happy. We got this.

So when you say your agency is becoming more and more referral base, an MCO would be a type of a referral.
