Post Your Breath Hold (Week 14: Mar 30h - Apr 6th)
The Breath Hold Challenge is not about pushing yourself. Wait, what? If you stick around for a few days, you learn that to hold longer, you don't push. You go into a state of relaxation. And forget about the world around you. Yes, I get it. When your diaphragm is jolting up and down. You are not relaxed. Stig has a secret hack to activate the Vagus nerve. One that he has used in preparation for his Guinness world records. Watch the video ๐Ÿ‘‡

This breath holding thing. Isn't it dangerous? Doctors say that if you don't breathe for four minutes or longer, you'll get brain damage. And while Stig does do crazy things, like jumping into a frozen lake in Greenland, by all accounts, he is still alive. And so are the many people in the Breath Hold Community that have held their breath for 3, 4 or sometimes even 5 minutes at a time. So, what is going on. What is the truth? Stig will explain it in the video.

What is the fastest way to reset the nervous system? It's something we call Relax on Demand, or 1:2 Breathing. The key is in the exhale. By extending the exhale, you give your body permission to shift to resting mode. Throw a few of these before your breath holds,, and watch the numbers go up. (and feel amazing in the mean time). Ready to give it a try? Step 1: Watch the video Step 2: Breathe like Stig for a few cycles. Stee 2: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 3: Post your time here, get feedback and points Step 4: Head on over to the Classroom for the rest of the challenge. Let's go & double your breath hold! ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ

Did five rounds of Edward's 30/90 exercise. The first two rounds were difficult. Round 3 felt good and rounds 4 and 5 were very nice and relaxing.
