@Wendy Henderson Hi Wendy. It's a picture frame. I covered a piece of cardboard with black fabric (similar to velvet) then sewed burlap/lace strips across. The earrings can hang on the lace or the burlap

Thanks for including me in your group. The items you make are beautiful and I look forward to the classes to make them. I've been crocheting and sewing since my girl scouts and love trying all kinds of projects like paper making, quilling, macrame, and beading!
