Need help
Hey guys, yesterday I messed up big time. I keep exploding full speed and but I keep getting unstable. What’s the best way to stay under control while going fast and explosive.

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" make time to practice moving at a slower pace and being deliberate with each step. For example, working on slanting into the next gap: set out some markers to represent the guy you're slanting across (cones, a backpack, a sweater etc) and walk though your movements. What does your first step out of your stance need to be to get across to that next gap? how far across? how far forward? Pace it out step by step and really visualize the man in front of you. Once you know where you are stepping you can add speed and keep repping it through, making sure your feet are going where you want them to. Have a plan, build that muscle memory, and execute
Working push pull
As a soph DE my coach believes the push pull can be one of my best moves because my get off and push. How can I get a better push pull because when I try it I dont normally win the rep.

To echo coach Dheilly: it's the knock back that makes it work. You need to make him push against you to use his own strength against him. Drive until you feel him go to reset and put him in your pocket to pull him down and get past his hip in one movement. There's a flow of actions as an O-lineman, "if you're knocked back: reset your hands & feet and drive them back" knowing how they are likely to react is like a superpower. Talk to your o-line guys and work together to become better
Cleats
Should I wear low top cleats or high top cleats?

Making sure they fit well is more important in my opinion, making sure they don't crush your toes together and support the whole foot

Yo wsg y’all boys wanna know what’s some things I could’ve did better in these clips. I know there not necessarily bad plays but they could’ve been better.

What was your gap assignment on the first play? Looks like there's an LB behind you with no one having outside contain. Second play is a great Box on the puller, sealing up the space. Overall the main concern I have is across the line you guys are just barely in position when the ball is snapped, if I were an PC I'd run a few no huddles against you and take advantage of that.

To build on what coach Dheilly has said regarding getting that front leg loaded up: whenever you come out of you stance you need to come from that coiled position, by getting ready beforehand you can save that fraction of a second in wasted movement to load it up after the snap. If you are spending 0.3 seconds after the snap rocking backwards to Spring back then you have wasted 10% of the 3 seconds you have to get to the QB. If your phone can take slow motion video, that is perfect for this sort of thing, it really let's you see where you have wasted motion and how your body moves. All the best 👍
