Probate
I have a claimant in NV, she is the daughter of the deceased owner. After we submitted the claim the State sent back requesting that this needs to go through probate. I feel stuck, I've been sitting on this for a few weeks. Can someone please help me. Never did a probate case before.

Would like to follow up with this scenario. Have no experience with this either. But if probate is involved, consulting an attorney (as David suggested) would be my next move. At least you will be made aware of the necessary steps involved.

@Cyon Pryce Not that I'm a knowledgeable resource of information. I ran across this website: FindLaw.com. I just Googled "how to find an attorney" and this was one of the references that populated. You can enter the zip code of the area you are working, and it will then return referenced attorneys in that area. Yes, they do have probate & estate firms listed too. Another thought, you might find or visit an attorney near you that deals with probate & estate claims, and they should at least give you an idea what to expect. I would also ask if they networked with other firms in the NV area. May be worth a shot Cyon. Just my 2 cents ... 😉
