And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. The Lord highlighted this to me on a page of Verses I'd written down to meditate on and it struck me unlike any other. The Christ I was following had become not love, but a hard taskmaster, which is not a bad thing but it is when it results in empty prayers and legalism which it did. I began to meditate more on this Verse and similar ones about abiding and showing love and trusting in the Lord and praying that He would help me to abide in love and was able not just to reconcile with Him but to overcome some of my wrath and lack of temperance. This was not my doing. It was His. Glory to the King.

One thing that I have seen other people say the moment they look at others' success is, "I'm too far gone. I'll never be like them." The truth is, if you say this continuously, you will not succeed. However, the solution for this is very simple. All that is required of you is commitment worth 2 weeks of complete focus that will get you up there, the same way you are behind by the same 2 weeks that these people are ahead of you. The only question that comes to this is: how much do you badly want it? You can work for 2 years and still not catch up simply because you didn't want it badly enough. So my calling is simple! To those who are serious about change, comment one thing that you struggle with and commit to changing that in the next 2 weeks. Let's see who you really can become as an image of GOD. ✝️Christ has Risen✝️

I know I want to serve and have been walking in my calling and staying rooted in the Word but it feels like I'm just doing it because I need to. I lost my fire and I'm being convicted about double mindedness but i don't know how to open my heart again.

I've been praying for rain and this is the third day in a row it rained praise the Lord

I feel like the only way to remove my phone addiction is if I don't have a phone and get a flip phone. I've tried a lot of things to stop, but I still can't stop looking at soccer content, especially with the World Cup right now. I love soccer, but I can see it becoming an Idol. I think it is already an idol. I have had months or weeks of being in control, but as you know, depending on the will never works. I have also tried prayer many times, but I just cannot seem to be delivered. I don't get it, for me, some sins are just easy to hate and not do, but some are just hard to ignore, like entertainment, like soccer. This is even harder because I grew up with soccer and Joga Bonito videos.
