Life is Not Promised: Reflecting Post
The picture below is of myself and longtime friend Lyle Daniel. He is an extraordinary photographer, changed the game in several spaces, and his work has been featured in magazines, publications, celebrity bios, you name it he's done it. Earlier this summer, a nagging cough caused him to go to the doctor which returned a cancer diagnosis and not only did he have cancer, but it had spread to multiple areas and organs in his body. This past Wednesday at around 3:57 PM my friend Lyle passed away at the age of 50, surrounded by his wife and daughter, close family and friends. As I reflect on his life, a picture is painted of a person who pushed himself to do what he was afraid of, to get out of his comfort zone, to start scared, start unsure and his storied yet brief career is peppered with experiences that some even twice his age cannot lay claim to. Life is not promised. I'm sure you joined this group for a reason. Maybe you want to serve at a different level. Maybe you're looking to establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry. Maybe you want to funnel clients to your business and have an offer that allows you Income to create the life you've always wanted. Whatever that reason is time is no respect of persons, what would it look like for you to get started today? Let me know in the comments.

This post touched me deeply. I’m so sorry for your loss, Kirk. The message I carry from this is a reminder that life is fragile, and I don’t want to delay walking fully in the calling God has placed on my heart. It’s stirring me to step out, even when uncertain, and to keep serving through my writing, coaching, and the work of helping women heal in faith and wholeness.

Had a few meetings today but for the most part was free and I spent the time doing some yard work and reflecting. Truly grateful to the almighty for this life he's called me to live. The latitude I have in my schedule to actually do what refills me without asking permission. And the lives I get to impact like those in this group. Thank you for putting your trust in me it truly means a lot. Now I'm off to dinner with the family. I'll checkin again tomorrow. Be Blessed!

Happy and blessed birthday!
It happens to everyone...
Well into my content journey I was dabbling with Batch Recording. For those unfamiliar Batch Recording is when you record multiple videos in a single setting or session, can be in a day or over a set of consecutive days. I was doing this to crank out a series on StreamYard that I wanted on my channel. No team at this point just myself, Ecamm Live, and a ton of automation. I recorded 4 videos back to back to back in the space of an hour. I was super pumped and proud of myself. When I finished the 4th video I took a break and even went to get something to eat as a reward for getting it done. Some of you know and others might be learning, when you set a date, do the prep work to script intros, outros, and outline the videos. Get the haircut, ensure the studio is set, have your changes of on brand t-shirts, block the time on the calendar, and get the entire family on-board that this time is untouchable.... And then actually execute! This is MAJOR I came back from my reward meal, came back into my home studio, started prepping to record some more videos. I went to test something on the rodecaster pro and couldnt hear it which was odd. I adjusted the audio then even tapped my mic but nothing was registering. Turns out an incorrect setting was enabled that muted the speakers. I was about to do something else when it hit me... Was that setting there for the first 4 videos? Opened up the folder where the videos are saved and check all 4 of them and not one had any audio. After a brief walk around the block to clear my frustration, I came back to the studio, added a spot check to my workflow before and after every video recording, and then re-recorded those 4 videos and completed the series. It happens to the best of us but it's not a reason to give up, throw in the towel, or walk away. Growth happens when we face the worst scenario possible AND decide to keep moving forward. Hope this encourages someone in their Youtube / Content journey. Grace and Peace Fam. PS. The second recording was actually better than the first!

That reminds me of “fail forward” and “fail back” in the IT world. Sometimes the system hiccups, sometimes we miss a setting — but either way, the recovery plan matters more than the crash itself. You didn’t just recover, you came back with an even stronger workflow. That’s the kind of resilience that keeps creators — and systems — running.
I took the Leap
After experiencing how interactive and engaging a Skool community can be I took the leap and set one up. Within a few hours I had so much setup, a framework to create tiers for my community, and a place for everyone to hangout and make progress toward their goals! This only happened because I decided to stop thinking and strategizing and just took the leap. Major Win for me and i'm super excited. Question: What areas are you need to take a leap in your life?
