@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Visual looks great! Gordon, enraged as usual, but... 1. We don't know "where's the lamb sauce!!!!??" 2. We are not calling the person reading it an "idiot sandwich" for not being in here already. All jokes aside tho i really like it and the meme refference.
Roast the About Page of a Web-Designer
Hello Fellow Roasters! I am a web-designer by profession. I'd love your feedback on the about page of my website. Here it is: https://bambootreebranding.com/about/ Some of the ways you can help me: 1. Does the page read all right? Is it clear or do you have to think too hard to understand? 2. Is it missing anything important? 3. After reading it, what did you feel? You can be brutally honest, I am not posting this for praise, I'd like to catch the blind spots. Help me see better. Thank you!

Soooo, 1. The page does read well, which I like, no complex pretentious language, and it looks clean; however, you lost me at the Long Piece of text that covers your origins and backstory. I feel like if I do not like or know you from somewhere, I won't be enticed to read through it, and so then either I'll skip over that part after a few words/sentences or jump off completely. For example, the story of the bamboo makes for a much more entertaining, informative, and relevant read. 2. The way it's started "About Me It didn’t take long for me to realize that I didn’t come to this planet to fit in. I came to be original.(And of course, to enjoy a cup of tea ;))." And I understand it's an about page, but we still want people to read it, so I would be looking for something stronger to increase the likelihood of that happening. The Bamboo could be a good theme to use throughout as it is interesting, makes me curious, and yet it can still be connected to / used to express your own life, how you help businesses, etc. I don't think you missed anything necessarily, but I would consider addressing AI-built websites; inevitably, that will be your competition more and more over time.

@Sumit Sharma Glad it is!
Roast my About Page 🔥
I started a community around helping people expatriate and move to the Balkans (Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, etc.). In order to decrease the cost of living drastically, increase the quality of life, pay lower taxes, and live in a place where you feel free and inspired. And I've finished an upgrade just now by recording a new video, copy, and visuals -> HERE Would appreciate you pointing out any holes you can find in the copy. If you feel the structure of the video is good and keeps attention, or if it does not, where does it get stale (will probably record a new one, just better produced) And if anything comes to mind for the visuals. Or just roast it all in general in any way you please https://www.skool.com/the-balkan-renaissance-5529/about

Roast my About Page Please
My friend, Jennifer Turner and I are building a new Skool community called Skool Summit Stage. 🎤💜 The vision is creating a space where entrepreneurs, creators, coaches, and community owners can grow visibility, host workshops/trainings, speak on virtual stages, connect with new audiences, and collaborate with other communities instead of trying to grow alone. Basically… helping real people get seen, supported, and in front of audiences already being built. We’re still building it out now, but the community is open to join and full launch will be within the next week or so. Would genuinely LOVE feedback on the about page. Here’s the link: Skool Summit Stage Roast it kindly 😂, but open to alll feedback.🎤

Time for some Barbecue 🔥 1. Formatting - I believe this can be done much better and cleaner - the different font in the start and close to the end is unnecessary and to me it does more harm than good, I'd keep it consistent across the board, then the 3 random microphone emojis, i would add emojis that serve a purpose and either communicate something or support a word or a sentence with more variety. 2. What do I get - Numbers seem to be a very useful thing to use, i would find a way to use numbers in communicating what they get (4 Live calls/month, 22 Hours of Pre-recorded Events, 9 Ai - Automation use cases), you get the gist. I would also list them 1 by 1, like so - One thing - Second thing - Third thing Also, I would think + do some research on what things that you provide are the MOST valuable and desirable, and lean on those instead of trying to list out as many as possible and combining them into pairs. I've recently implemented some of these on my own, and I think it makes a world of difference. Hope this helps!

Alright, let's get into it 👹 1. Visual -> In terms of the pictures, I like the first "banner," but then you have 5 different food photos, which also don't fully fit in the frame. I would most likely combine food photos into a collage, and then add other visuals that might be enticing - a classroom screenshot? Authority/credibility? Even a photo of your kitchen. 2. Copy -> I would most likely not mention "Premium" $25/Month. You can position the upsell once they're inside and do it much better, as you don't have the symbol limit, which makes the pitch weaker. Updated 5/26. Can also go. Next, I would personally add some pop of colour with emojis (there is a ton of them for food), but that's just my personal thing. Lastly, from a positioning perspective, I would absolutely add the "money saving" factor of home-cooked meals to show them an immediate ROI on their investment. The food looks delicious by the way!

@Dar Brown Yes those would be great if you have them, but not necessary if you don't.
