Let’s get better at knowing what each other are actually working on. Not just the wins. Not just the polished stuff. Drop a link to your Skool group, YouTube channel, opt-in, freebie, or offer. This is your space to share what you’re building. Use it. Show it off. Let us see what you're up to. There is one rule. You must leave feedback or say something supportive to at least one other person in the thread. This is about connection. It helps all of us when we know what you're building and how we can support each other.

@Serenity Michelle Yeah. I'm going to do some more targeted ads. So, far have been letting the Meta algorithm do the auto-targeting. That's produced a CTR of 6.6% which isn't bad. Nobody is converting, though. A bit confused as my about page is about as tweaked as I can muster. I am going to send info to divorce attorneys. However, dads going to them usually want just the certificate saying they took a required divorce class to finish their legal divorce. My offer isn't that.

@Glenn Summers I know how to use keywords with Google ads (which I plan to run soon). I'm not sure how to use keywords with Meta (other than having things in my ad copy).
Pomodoro or Deep Work? | The Battle For Your Brain
If you ever sit down to work and suddenly it’s two hours later and you’ve done nothing, you’re not alone. Our attention is one of the most valuable things we have. If we don’t protect it, the to-do list doesn’t stand a chance. Some people swear by the Pomodoro Technique. Set a timer for 25 minutes, focus on one task, then take a real 5 minute break away from the work. It’s all about momentum without burnout. Others go all in with Deep Work. Long, uninterrupted blocks where your phone is off, distractions are gone, and your brain gets to fully lock in. 👇 What actually works for you? Pomodoro, Deep Work, or something totally different?

My performance for various types of tasks shifts during the day. So, I do what works when it works.

@Jenna Ostrye I first started making this type of adaptation many years ago when I was an undergrad. While I had friends who could do homework whenever they decided to do it, I found that my most productive times were early in the mornings. If I tried to write a paper late into the night, I'd waste a lot of time writing and rewriting the same stuff. However, if I worked on that type of task super early, I was much more efficient. That experience led me to try to have a flexible work pattern in which I would focus on tasks when I was more likely to be efficient.
Keeping Quiet About Your Message Is Keeping You Broke
What do people know you for? If someone needed what you offer, would your name come to mind? If you are not putting content out there, people will not just forget about you... They will not think of you when they hear someone else needs what you do. You can be the best at what you do, but if you are not visible, someone less qualified but louder will get the clients. 🤷‍♀️ Show up. Share your message. Repeat it until people can explain what you do. Are you making it easy for people to remember and refer you? Or are you leaving money on the table? ✅ Practice Time: Try to put in 150 characters or less what you do on Skool. No links or direct pitches. Just explain what you do. If it's more than 150 characters, I will delete it.

@Stevie Deal If you're a parent of a preteen or teen, let's all have a moment of silence. Actually, there's no hope. Just kidding! 🙂 My techniques work for parents. In fact, in May, I'm launching a community for divorced dads to help them deal with their stress as well as parent and coparent better. PS Have you yet seen the book: Get out of My Life, but, First Drive Cheryl and Me to the Mall?
My Clarity Call with Jenna
Holy crap! Just enjoyed my first clarity call with Jenna and it was 10x as valuable as I hoped it would be! She helped me get perspective on how my various elements of my Skool project can interrelate to best pursue my mission! Thanks, Jenna!!!

Don't Work For Free. Get More Clients.
☝️ The title says it all. This is a conversation I have multiple times a week with various people. At a minimum your time is worth something. At least a base starting price. You need to eat. If you don't have more than 1-2 clients, then you will feel the pressure any time something comes up with those clients. There are ups and downs. It's natural. Are you working for pay or for free?

@Karen Anne Hope Andrews I have literally hundreds of positive comments/reviews from former clients and students which I could honestly put in my testimonials without identifying information. My thinking is: people don't take those as seriously as testimonials/case studies where the person is identified (and, hopefully has perceived status).

@Darnell Graham Thanks. I can't put the picture, either. Can't put any identifying information.
