The end of the beginning. Today we brought the whole process together and focused on what happens after the first offer goes in. Because getting an offer out isn't the end of the process. It's where the process really starts. Over the last five days, we've gone from setting your investment targets and identifying a property, through enrichment, vendor circumstances, strategy, appraisal and negotiation. Now we move into execution and follow-up.If your offer isn't accepted today, that doesn't mean the deal is dead. Move the property into Follow-Up and keep building the intelligence around it. Circumstances change. Vendors become more motivated. Sales fall through. Agents come back. Prices move. The property that doesn't work today might work in six or eight weeks. NEXT: BUILD THE PIPELINE One property isn't a property business. The next stage is turning what we've done this week into a repeatable process. When you're starting out, I'd be aiming to identify around 5–10 properties every week and bring them into your pipeline — depending, of course, on your strategy and model. Then work the process: Identify → Enrich → Understand the circumstances → Build the investment thesis → Appraise → Negotiate → Follow up. Not every property will become a deal. That's exactly why we pipeline. The aim is to keep enough opportunities moving that you're not emotionally or financially dependent on any single property working. One quick note: some of the Academy training videos still refer to Unicorn OS. These were recorded before Sentinel launched and I’ll be re-recording and updating them for Sentinel. In the meantime, don’t worry if you hear Unicorn OS mentioned — Sentinel is now the system we’re using going forward. 🛠 Technical problems with Sentinel As you start using Sentinel more, you may occasionally encounter technical glitches — particularly at this early MVP stage. If something is actually broken or not working technically, please report it through Support within the Settings section of Sentinel. That gives the development team the information they need to investigate and resolve it.
