I love meditation, it's a daily practice I've been doing for a few years now. I am also involved in a spiritual developement group here in Aotearoa, where we start with a 20 minute 'sit' & something I include in my daily life as much as I can which has hugely helped me to lessen the chatter & feel energetically into self. So, what did I feel in this meditation? I visualise a screen like at the movies & I'm the star that plays all the roles. Visualise myself lying on a table, visualise another 'me' standing over 'me' lying on that table, then jump inside my body scanning from top to bottom, feeling, listening, asking, what does my body need? I visualise a magic wand in my hand, tapping magic into all the aches & pains to send them on their way & the warmth I feel as they leave. I give each chakra a little spin & the joy I feel as each one glows stronger, bigger, happier, clearer. Today I felt so much warmth & tingling in my hands, I recently had surgery so I'm still pretty sore there but to feel no pain for that short time feels glorious. The magic of meditation is beautiful & soothing, I love it.

Now mine is a little different, in that it happened before I knew what the challenge was going to be... although I did see the heading 'Pink Feathers' as I was scanning my many daily emails plus I had seen the title of someones post that said 'Feathers' but didn't read it & thought, I'll read the challenge later as I was busy. While standing at one end of my kitchen breakfast bench brain storming in my head about prioritising my busy day ahead, when something in the bottom of my pot plant holder caught my eye. I'm blind as a bat without my glasses which were sitting on the bench infront of me, so after squinting trying to see what this was I chuck me goggles on & it's a feather, bit battered n bruised but clearly a feather & I'm thinking how the hell did that get in there? Then I have a flash back... "Day 2 Pink Feathers" which got me curious enough to whip out my phone & read the email, boy did I have a chuckle! Spirit gave me that feather knowing I would need a feather, I just didn't know it at the time. I love how spirit loves to play 💜

Day two challenge, to find a feather. I thought this was going to be easy bc I always see feathers…. So I said maybe I should ask for a pink one…. Anyway the day went by and no feathers to be seen. Then this morning coming to the end of my walk and the thoughts started coming in…. No feathers, what if I don’t see a feather…. It’s not working etc…. I stoped myself and reminded my self it was game, a joyous fun game of hide and seek with the universe. That’s how I framed it. Playful hide and seek. No urgency, just fun. I glanced down at this bush and something caught my eye. I had to look right into the bush to see a little feather stuck to a leaf. It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t laid out right in front of me. But it was there!!! I was thrilled. Then a little while later a voice said” but it wasnt pink” argh….. so I gave myself another talking to about the universe presents things how they choose to not how I try and control it……. As I walked up my driveway another feather was hiding in the rocks… it’s not pink but it’s definitely for me!! What a morning!!!!
