@Jester Quezon I have been at this a lot this year. I am not sure where you are at at the moment in your journey, but i would start from finding youtube videos focusing on precision of your slaps and pops. You can do these automatically while watching Netflix or so, that's what I ve been doing. Once you feel comfortable with your precision, try to cover some simple songs and slowly grow until you find that you can create your simple slap basslines to songs you listen. This has been my experience, I started from some octaves exercises, like Fitz Jones suggested, then tried some gospel/ funk licks (Travis Dykes has a very nice video with 10 slap lines progressively getting harder), then covered couple Red Hot Chilli Peppers and then tried some gospel parts. I have started very recently my, so far rather clumsy ,attempts of creating my own lines. Here's the example: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjdBjrOMdskUhAAyoJJt84XDasV-?e=JY7hAP As bad as it sounds, I would not be able to do anything like this in January, so staying in the shed is well worth it :).
