Growing my email list
I'm currently using BookFunnel to promote lead magnets and grow my email list. Any other recommendations for a different platform? Thanks!

I use StoryOrigin, similar to BookFunnel, and Mailerlite for my newsletters. Mailerlite is easy to use and I love it. So far it's free for the amount of subscribers I have. But they keep changing and lowering the amount of subscribers for it to be free.

@Wendy Koenig Hi Wendy! I have my different reader magnets on StoryOrigin. When someone downloads one of them, it's sent thru StoryOrigin and they're automatically put on my email list thu Mailerlite. On StoryOrigin they have newsletter swaps where you will promote another author's book or freebie and they'll promote yours to hopefully get more email subscribers. And they have group promos where you can be part of a large group of authors with your freebie or free book. Everyone participating will include the link in their newsletter with all the authors' freebies in the hopes subscribers will download and also join your email list. I believe BookFunnel is similar.

Hi Everyone! My children's picture book "The Adventure Twins Hike the Valley of Fire" eBook is FREE to download on Amazon today & tomorrow! You can download it on either day and then read it any time. 🤩 Click this link, then "Buy Amazon" for your country. https://linktr.ee/paulapodhorzer Click "Buy Now for Free" (not "Read for Free") for your eBook download. Enjoy reading about 8-year-old brother & sister twins hiking with their family through the red rocks of Nevada. David's hat flies onto a high rock but he's afraid to climb. Find out how his twin, Vicki, helps him! View my photos for 1/2 the backgrounds of this beautiful state park! This is a real place you can visit! Please leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads when you read. It helps readers to find books for their little ones and helps us indie authors to be found. Thank you so much! 🥰

Author/Illustrator Bio
What are everyone’s thoughts on putting an author bio or illustrator bio at the end of the book. Do people do that for Children’s Picture Books or is that not necessary?

I put my author bio at the end of my children's picture book, "The Adventure Twins Hike the Valley of Fire" and also my illustrator's bio, with both of our photos. I think people are interested to find out a bit about who wrote and illustrated the stories they read. I did it again for my upcoming book. Best of luck with your book!

the consistent actions we take when no one is looking...
is what will make us successful, but most people quit before they see the fruit of it.... Sometimes I want to quit, but then I remember that and I think my success is just around the corner.

@paula-podhorzer-2477
Hi! I write children's picture books about twins' travel adventures, based on places I've been, using my photos as the backgrounds of my stories.
