I need a better way to get my chickens put up at night, like a door on a timer. I'm forever stressing out how to get home in time to lock them up if my family isn't home to do it. I lost my littlest girl the other night because my husband couldn't find her. 😔

I had a rooster that roosted on our handrail at our carport door. He would crow at us as we came and went. His poop was getting out of hand, so I gave him to my cousin. 🐓

I love Red Stars. They're chill and not skittish and are great layers.
