Product Photography Setup
📸 My current setup for taking product photos for the website, etc. entails a single sheet of melamine slid on top of the tablesaw. Pros: - Convenient enough, and usually not time consuming - Consistent - Large enough for most products - That perfect white background for clearly showing the product (required for selling on certain platforms, such as Amazon) Cons: - Sometimes takes a bit of effort to get out from behind other plywood - Heavy - Reliant on the shop lighting or requires extra lights to be brought in, cluttering the shop - Not quite large enough for the largest products, in which case I have to get creative with vertical white sheets in order to maintain the consistent white background beyond the ends of the melamine ❓Do you have a unique process for photographing your creations?

Most of our smaller projects I built a melamine box with a touch light built in. Any thing on the larger side we use a simple white sheet for back drop. This helps to reduce overhead lighting or flash glare. Plus its easy to set up and remove. Melamine has a tendency to produce alot of glare. You can solve that by some mat spray paint.

@Chris Skrobarczyk will do my best. Have some in pre spawn, some on bed, and others post spawn. Hopefully I can find d some big ones but will take a few smaller. Let's keep our fingers lures crossed.

@Chris Skrobarczyk done deal. Put 5 in the boat this morning. Nothing big. Largest weighed in at 1.62 lbs. Logged the catch on my app but didn't take one for my phone to be able to post it.

The darker pieces look like Walnut other parts have the character of Poplar. Would be interested in material as well.

Will have to set up a time to do a live on skool to cover some of this. Been wanting to get a few active people so I can start some webinars.

@Chris Skrobarczyk I wish I could say all my catches where this size. Truth is I may get a few dozen small ones before I get 1 big one. Its all about being in the right place, right time, and right bait.
