UPDATE, 2nd Apr: DP-800 certification retired
UPDATE, 2nd Apr: Sorry folks, the DP-800 is not a real thing (at least yet!). Just an April fools joke, enjoy your days ๐Ÿ˜€ #microsoftfabric #dp800 #april1st

Sometimes I feel like I'm on a treadmill.
Decided to start with DP-700
I'll probably end up doing both, but I've decided I fancy DP-700 first. When I joined here I was reading about how the study was gamified(?), I was wondering if I'm studying DP-700 from scratch where do I start with that? I'll be covering the Fabric Foundation classes first of course, but then where does the gamified part start, and how do I know what order to do the dojo tutorials in? I know there are foundational tutorials but are the done in a certain order? I've just got some bench time at work so making the most of it to finally get my study off the start line and get stuck in. I have already completed the welcome pack even though it still says 0% :). I am travelling abroad in a few months so I have this real target of passing before I leave. Thank you all in advance of any pointers.

@Will Needham Perfect, thank you!
DP-600 Certified!
๐ŸŽ‰Iโ€™m excited to share that Iโ€™ve passed the DP-600 exam! ๐Ÿš€ Big thanks to @Will Needham and this amazing communityโ€”your insights and resources were invaluable! ๐Ÿ’ก Tips for DP-600 prep: โœ… Hands-on Practice - especially on Deployment pipelines (Dev โ†’ Test โ†’ Prod) while experimenting with Fabric item names, schedule refreshes and T-SQL practice. โœ… Willโ€™s Videos โ€“ That summarizes and simplifies the Fabric architecture and how it works. โœ… Microsoft Learn Portal โ€“ Invest time in navigating the documentation structure; searching with key terms often provides direct answers in summaries. Looking forward to achieve further career milestones and continuously learn and make the most of this community! ๐Ÿ™Œ. All the Best!๐Ÿ˜„

'searching with key terms often provides direct answers in summaries.' This is a great tip! And congratulations on the pass!
Passed DP-600
I am happy to share I passed the DP-600 exam on my second attempt, scoring 700/1000โ€”just at the passing mark! It was a challenging experience, and one key lesson I learned is that having mock exam questions alone won't help if you don't understand the underlying principles. Thatโ€™s where Will Needhamโ€™s course made a huge difference for me. His content was a game-changer, providing the in-depth understanding needed to tackle the exam successfully. For anyone studying for the DP-600 exam, here are the resources I found helpful: 1. Microsoft Learn โ€“ DP-600 Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate 2. Learn Microsoft Fabric for DP-600 by Will Needham (Thank you for your dedication and hard work in creating high-quality content that is truly valuable to the community.)๐Ÿ’ฏ 3. Well done @Ige Ogunlade , I've passed a few MS Exams with that score! It just means you did the perfect about of exam study!
Exam Lessons first, or tutorials first?
I have exposure to Data Factory, Power BI (did the exam a few years ago) and SQL Server (SQL Server the most), I'm looking to get my exam study going soon, but I was wondering if the more Fabric experienced of you could hint as to whether I'd initially be better off going through some tutorials first to make the study easier to digest, or would going straight to the exam lessons would make the tutorials clearer to understand?

Hi @Lori Keller well I don't have a mandate there, I guess I'd eventually take both so it's a case of knowing which one leads more into the other and go from there. Jeez, I had not thought about that. I feel like DP-600 might be best to go for first, feels like it leads on to DP-700. Would you agree?

@Lori Keller Thank you for the link, its going straight into my favourites! As mentioned above I'm going to take a good look at each exam and go from there. As I say, once I've covered off one exam, knowing me I'll want the set and take advantage of the crossover. Really appreciated your advice, thank you!
