Friday Habit Upgrade: “1 Specific Detail” (Creative Writing)
Trigger: Before you start writing today. Small action (5 minutes): Write one sentence describing a moment, but it must include 1 concrete detail from each list: Sense: a sound / smell / texture Exact noun: not “car” → “white Corolla”; not “drink” → “flat Coke” Number: time / distance / amount Action: a physical verb (grip, scrape, fold, drag) Micro-question: What are you writing right now (story, reflective piece, description, or narrative essay)? Comment below. 😊

Midweek (Wednesday): Best Vocabulary for Any Question
Stop using big words (that don't explain what you mean). Use exact words from the question. Quick rule: Pick 2 key nouns from the question (e.g., power, identity, conflict) → swap them for more precise words (authority, control, tension). Action (comment ONE thing): Paste your essay question + an exact thesis for it
Is anyone super keen for today's 2:30 PM class?
Hey guys, if you were planning to attend today please comment here. I'll need to cancel the 2:30pm. I can put it on at a different time as something unexpected came up today so I won't be able to do the regular time. Let me know what works and I'll see what I can do.

Friday Wins & Fixes: Habit Upgrade (Build Consistency) + Well done 2 two superstar students!
Great work today @Keira McCutcheon and @Sebastian U. Consistency is a great habit and your commitment to practicing skills every week is showing in the quality of your output. 👏 Now, habit time! If your writing only happens when you “feel ready,” you’ll stay stuck. Consistency beats intensity. Today’s habit rule (pick ONE): 1. 2-minute start: open the doc + write one ugly sentence 2. One paragraph only: stop after it (leave energy for next time) 3. Same time trigger: “After dinner = 10 minutes writing” Action (comment using this format): - This week’s win (1 sentence): - My consistency problem (choose 1): time / motivation / distractions / unclear task - Next week’s tiny habit (choose 1): 2-minute start / one paragraph / same time trigger - Your trigger: “After ___, I will ___ for ___ minutes.” - Paste ONE sentence you wrote this week (optional): Recognition mechanic (so this becomes a loop):I’ll reply with a micro-upgrade: either a tighter trigger, a simpler habit, or a rewritten version of your sentence. Micro-question: What’s the main thing that breaks your consistency right now—time, distractions, or not knowing what to write next?
