Gym Anxiety
Lads!! We all know that hitting the gym is one of the best things you can do for your health and well being. Both physically and mentally. I suffer from health anxiety big time. Years of working night shifts, eating shit and spending my off days on the couch hating my life and drinking away the misery most weekends. This factors into my mind when i think about getting in the gym. I think sometimes that I have done too much damage to my body already now i am in my mid 40s. The though of having a heart attack if I lift weights dominates my thoughts more than getting fit and healthy from it. Which I know is Stupid and makes little to no sense. Do any of you guys have these kind of thoughts about hitting the gym after a life time of poor health choices?

I went to gym today for fist time in months. Got on scales and I’m the biggest I’ve ever been. Need to get my life in order.
First video attempts!
Afternoon gents, everyone ok? Just wanted to share a couple of videos I've put on YouTube! Been struggling mentally these last few months and find it really hard to open up about things! Thanks Anthony for letting me put em on here and your encouragement 🤝 https://youtube.com/shorts/BrELEEb5QM4?feature=share https://youtu.be/u70l9TS6bHg

Thanks for sharing mate. I’ve thought of doing this myself. However I’m afraid if I start sharing my thoughts and experiences I won’t be able to stop.

This Is Me!
Hello Lads, 44 year old Durham Dad here. Like many of us, I’ve been sat pondering what is the point of this whole “life” business. I feel like a passenger in my own existence at times, but I plod on for my wife and kids. Honestly don’t think I would still be here if not for them. Been working hard since I left school, always living on the breadline, I don’t have the smarts to work my way up (council estate lad, council estate education). I don’t qualify for any government support either. Struggled with depression for years, recently diagnosed as autistic, which explains a lot of my past and existing struggles. On a more positive note, my interest include, heavy metal music, horror and true crime stories, football, pro wrestling, reading and writing books. I love a pint and love a good quiz, although I do get too excited and shout out the answer when I know it lol. Looking to find a side hustle, was hoping publishing my stories would be it, but that’s not proving to be a success.
