Make It Visible — Creative Expression
This space is for what can’t always be said directly. Share your art, your writing, your poetry, your music, your sketches—anything that helps you express your inner world. Whether it’s raw, unfinished, messy, or something you feel proud of, it all belongs here. Creative expression can be a way to process, to reclaim your voice, to witness yourself, and to be witnessed by others. I also wanted to share that I make a lot of designs—stickers, t-shirts, and more—and I genuinely love doing it. I recently got a thermal sticker printer and it’s been so much fun bringing my designs to life. Right now they’re black and white only, but if you’d ever like some stickers sent your way, let me know. 🤍 I’m also working toward getting a larger printer so I can create 4x6 prints and eventually open an Etsy focused on mental health art. If you ever want to check out what I’m working on, I have a store page here: https://unlockpsych.com/unlock-psych-store/ You don’t need to explain your work unless you want to. You can let it speak for itself, or share what it means to you. When responding to others, receive their work with care. Honor the vulnerability it takes to share. This is a space to create, to feel, and to be seen. 🤍

I was strapped to the floor with my boots right under me; trying to stand, trying to pound pavement with one foot in front of the other. ..just fyi, pounding pavement means walking.

Resources for the Journey — Support, Tools & Community
I wanted to create a space where you can find supportive resources—whether you’re navigating something difficult, looking for understanding, or just wanting to feel a little less alone. ✨ Peer Support Resources I’ve put together a page with different peer support options you can explore here: https://unlockpsych.com/peer-support-resources/ ✨ The Psych Ward Survival Club I also want to share something really special. I found the Psych Ward Survival Club through a social media creator named Jay, who has worked in psych wards for many years (not sure if he still does). The way he shows up—with compassion, humanity, and deep care for people who have been through these systems—is honestly rare and powerful. @Jay Pitts His Jay’s Psych Ward Survival Club videos are incredibly validating, grounding, and supportive. I highly recommend checking them out. He’s actually part of our Skool community here as well 🤍 If you want to join his space, you can here: https://www.skool.com/the-psych-ward-survival-club-5118 I recently joined his kickoff call and it was such a warm, meaningful experience—getting to meet him and others in the space. He also has a book that I’m really looking forward to reading. ✨ Free Ebook Library (300+ PDFs) Over the years, I’ve collected a large library of ebooks—covering philosophy, recovery, spirituality, mental health, psychotherapy, and more. I made a page on my site where you can access all of them (full PDFs): https://unlockpsych.com/books/ Tip: You can switch to grid view in Google Drive (top right) to see all the book covers instead of just file names. Please feel free to download anything that resonates and share the link with others who might benefit. — If you have resources that have supported you—books, videos, communities, tools—feel free to share them here too. We’re building something collective 🤍

Awwhhh! I was just getting comfortable with Discord 😃 All the pages you had were encouraging . . . b/c of your warm welcome to them. That said, ’m looking forward to Skool and the classroom learning environment, but just wondering if there was any issues with Discord? Hopefully you recreate Discord here, but if not, I want transcripts of your room intros, b/c they were something spectacular and inviting. Like positive affirmations to get us through!
