Salutations!
Hi all. My name is Patty and I'm in Houston, TX. I'm here to learn from more experienced knowledgeable people doing purposeful work. I'm in a tiny apartment so I don't have much by way of practice, but I've learned a lot about the plants I have and what makes them happy and they are flourishing which is meaningful to me. 😊 I look forward to getting to know you all.

I actually have land in Bandera, but it's split 5 ways in strips on a hill. So each family member has it's own use and we don't all have a common vision on how to use it. It's a bit of a mess. 😄

@Stefano Creatini it's pretty scrubby and rocky. Mostly the family that utilize it most use it for hunting wild boar. We have a well. My father has a container he's converted into a bedroom and also built a little cabin. If I can get picks I'll share. My aunt and uncle live in a trailer at the bottom of the hill and another cousin has a makeshift cabin near the top. My other uncle has a trailer furthest west on the plot. He's kept most of the trees on his slip. So, pretty multi-use, but not cohesive. I don't have a lot of investment in it because of how divided the use is. My slip is right in between the makeshift cabin and the uncle with the trailer at the bottom. It feels crowded and not all my own. But I'm sure there is potential untapped there. What are your thoughts on multi-owned plots?
Hi everyone!
I go by Brit. I live just outskirts of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I'm a stay at home mom of 2 boys and very pregnant atm with a girl. Due xmas! I am enrolled in Brets courses and this is the dream life. Its been difficult time managing to complete the online schooling and everyday life. I definitely need to work harder at time management and discipline. I want to get these 3 things from the courses: 1.  More growth/knowledge to apply to my life and surroundings 2.  Living as a renter to obtaining more knowledge in and around renting environments 3. Things to look for when searching for a property to buy From the community it would be nice to connect around the world and hear others stories, see how they live or how they apply this to their environment. New tips and tricks are always welcome! I spend my days with my fam jam: 1.  Cooking/baking/food prep/storing 2.  Napping because self explanatory 3.  Playing/hands on with the kiddos Something I enjoy and probably would do every day is read! I love jumping into stories. ——————————————————————————————————————————

Sounds like you have a full life Brit. 😍
When Doing Permaculture
Something that I've learned while gardening and reading books is that your plants are living beings. True story... I told my husband that I was going to trim, but I used the word cut while holding onto the branch of our Mulberry tree. These plants listen to you because the next day... that branch was dead. I was in shock and my husband just laughed. This is super important to speak love to them while out attending to them. Also... music. Rather it be wind chimes or Solfeggio frequencies..., the plants love to hear the music!!! Crystals... organic material from the earth that holds electromagnetism. What else holds electromagnetism? Electricity, and we do through our bones! This is why it is important to add crystals to your garden beds. The crystals catch the kinetic energy from the air via a conduit of copper or iron. Example...your garden shephards hook that you hang a bird feeder... place it right by a baby guava tree and boom... your guava in one years time grows to almost six feet tall.

Wow. Wild about the branch! Are these all your practices you do with your space?
Introduction
Hey y'all, my name is Daniel. I'm living in Rostock, Germany, right at the Baltic Sea. I have a small garden behind the house where I live. There are six people living in the house, but nobody looks after the garden, and I have set myself the mission of building the garden according to permaculture design in order to supply myself, my friends and also the house residents with vegetables and fruit. That is my first goal and from there I will see what happens. Maybe at some point it will be enough to sell the vegetables too. I am very interested in cooking and preserving food such as fermenting and in the near future I would like to sell my own products. I want to get these 3 things from the community: 1. Knowledge  2. Connecting with like-minded people 3. A supportive community For fun I like to do these 3 things: 1. Climbing trees 2. Cooking 3. Lifting stuff Below you can see a video of my garden and its current state.

So excited to see where you go with the space!
Introducing Stefano Creatini
Howdy Holistic Homestead Folks! I'm excited to introduce you to a very good friend of mine, a fellow who is actually even more passionate about permaculture than myself, Stefano. It's a funny story but I met him in Durango, CO a few years back because I purchased my aquaponics system from him - you likely saw it. Anyway, his enthusiasm for spreading permaculture and helping people reaching towards self-sustainability and freedom is nothing short of inspiring. He wanted to help revive and take over the HHA program, improving it to match peoples needs and upgrade it to include interactive community technology that will help people way more than just another online course. Your courses have all been migrated from Kajabi to Skool here, and has been condensed, to make it easier and more digestible. You'll be seeing a whole lot more of Stefano as he re-ignites the Holistic Homestead!
