My Win for the Week
I've been sitting on my playbook for over a year because of some health challenges. I'm finally out from constantly being under the weather and have published my book: From Idea to Outline! For non-fiction authors, this playbook is a framework of 24 exercises that brings you from idea to ready to write your book. I've included a section on time management and how to fit writing your book into your life, since this is a huge challenge for us! https://www.amazon.com/Idea-Outline-step-step-professionals/dp/B0GVNTS58Q/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0

Lynn, congratulations. This is really much needed. I remember the discipline of writing my first book, and I was grateful at the time to have an outline from another published author and editor. For new writers, I would suggest purchasing the book. ā˜ŗļø
June 11th at 8am PST: Live! The Author's Brew Coffee Chat
Have questions about writing or publishing your book? On our last chat, one of our members found out that her publisher controlled her KDP account - but they never told her! This is one of the reasons that I recommend self-publishing your first book. https://www.skool.com/live/Vrv9BLCFpp8

šŸ‘‹ Welcome to Self Publishing for Leaders — Start Here First!
You're in the right place. Publishing a book as a thought leader is one of the most powerful things you can do for your business and your legacy. It positions you as the authority in your space, opens doors to speaking engagements, media features, and high-value clients, and creates something that outlasts any single conversation or social media post. Whether your book has been living in your head for years or you're just beginning to put the pieces together, this community was built for you. Self Publishing for Leaders exists for one reason: to help thought leaders like you stop saying 'someday' and start saying 'published'. This is a community space for professionals, coaches, consultants, speakers, and experts who are ready to share their knowledge with the world through a book — and use that book to build authority, attract clients, and leave a lasting legacy. Here's How it Works: Step 1: Introduce Yourself. Head over to the Introduce Yourself post and post a comment to tell us who you are. Don't be shy: this community is judgment-free. Step 2: Check the Calendar at the top of our community and make sure to add our two FREE community engagements: Group Coaching Workshops on the third Tuesday of the month and our Author's Brew Coffee Chats on the second Thursdays of the month. There's a convenient calendar download for each event. Step 3: Explore the Categories. Browse the community categories to find the conversations most relevant to your current journey stage. Jump in, ask questions, and share what you know. Get to know other professionals and build your relationships. Celebrate others, ask questions, share wins, and treat posting in this community as part of your weekly author routine. I'm honored to be on this journey with you. Now let's get your book written, published, and into the hands of the people who need it most!

This is great!
Introduction
My name is Joanna, and I have been in college for 3 years studying psychology. This has been the biggest challenge of my life because I did not attended school growing up. As an adult I went to several technical training schools which I feel is different because that was hands on learning. The Academic world is highly complicated for me but I have never let adversity dictate my direction.
