The Decision Before Publish Day
Something I keep noticing: two authors can write equally good books, market them the exact same way, and still get completely different results. After digging into a few cases, I found the difference always traced back to one decision made before either of them ever hit publish. Curious if anyone else has noticed this too?

I have not published yet, as my first book is still in the works; however, I am curious about what you found to be the difference in results.
📖 🎥 Big news, friends & fellow authors!
I am bringing in a very special guest, and you are going to want to show up for this one. @DesDreckett from The Content Revenue Lab is joining us live to talk about one of the most overlooked book marketing tools available to authors today: marketing your book on YouTube. Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you are ready to learn how to use YouTube to get your book in front of more readers! 🦫

This is a great marketing strategy. I am interested in attending this teaching session. If you are self-publishing, this would be a great opportunity to introduce your book and get plenty of website traffic.
My book series is in a Girl Scout library!
Someone I've chatted with over social for many years, and I met at a convention. She works for Girl Scouts of Northern California and purchased my entire book series and the playbook! She is putting them into the council library for Girl Scouts from her council to check out and read! Also, I handed out 250 bookmarks in a day and a half. I thought that would be plenty since I handed out fewer than 50 stickers at the last convention. Who knew that bookmarks would be more popular than stickers?

🎯 Write On Track: The Meetup Where Books Get Finished 📖 11am PST / 2pm EST
Here's the truth about writing a book. The hard part isn't the idea and it isn't the talent. It's showing up again next week when nobody is asking you to. That's what Write On Track is for. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday at 11 am PST. You bring your goals, tell us what got in your way, and set one specific task you'll finish before we meet again. Then two weeks later you come back and report on it. Simple, and shockingly effective, because it's a lot easier to skip a promise you made to yourself than one you made out loud to a room full of people who are rooting for you. You'll also find your people here. Someone in the room has already moved past the same stage you're stuck in, and someone else is looking for a co-writing partner in your time zone. That's the part nobody expects, and everybody ends up loving. Whether you're on chapter one or on your final read-through, this is the session that keeps you moving. Bring your goals and come join us. 🦫 What are you working on this week? Let us know in the comments below!

I am a professional procrastinator, but having this accountability time helps me to stay focused and work towards the end goal, finishing my book.
