eBay Store coupon expires today...
Sorry if this is already been mentioned but I just remembered that I had not used my quarterly coupon to buy some free boxes with my eBay store coupon code

@Michelle Torres I think it's on the Seller Hub page....Store....subscriber discounts.
Listing an item that could get returned - idea to put in the description
As I was doing research on eBay, I came across a very expensive Johnny Was article of clothing. In the description the seller add "The security plastic pin in yellow, red, or blue color will be attached to the item and no return will be accepted if it has been removed." This is an great idea to be certain you are getting back what you listed and shipped. Keep in mind not everyone reads the description but you never know when something could get returned. I'm going to research where to get security plastic pins, just in case I find an item that could sell for a lot more.

@Paula Gill I got them from Amazon.
Returns
I am so fed up with people who don't read the measurements in my listings. Now I have to pay over $7 to get a top back from Hawaii. Another one left neutral feedback complaining it was more like a size 14 than a size 16. The listing title says "Size 14-16 PLEASE CHECK MEASUREMENTS" I wrote that because the label said size 16 and had already been returned once.

Hiring Help
I have thought for a long time I could use help to photograph my listings. This is the area I struggle the most. I can get inventory, list, ship etc but getting enough photos seems like where I need to hire help. My questions are: How do I find the best fit? How do I pay them? Do I pay per listing or per hour? If I pay per hour then how many items per hour should I want them to do? How many days per week? How do I claim on taxes? If it is a high school or college student can I just pay them with Venmo or cash? I have never had anyone help me with my business but I feel this is where I need to go in order to scale up my business. If you have experience with this please let me know how you did it. thank you!

I hate doing the photography too. It's hard physically because I'm decrepit. Then I fuss endlessly editing the photos. I bought an Apple phone and it behaves differently every day. I hate it. Its pushing me to live àuctions. One and done.
62 Lost Items Not Listed on eBay Discovered During Inventory
We took our EOY inventory today. A lot of bad surprises came from this. We looked up every item starting at item #1. What we found was: Items listed on eBay but not in stock = 6 Items in inventory but not on eBay = 62 We have 923 items. That means we have an error rate of 7.3%. Way too much for the perfectionist in me What blows my mind is so many items that were listed are no longer listed! Caution. If you have not already done so take a day and do a complete inventory. Touch every item and match up what eBay says you should have.

I have only looked at about half my inventory and about 10% is no longer listed. I'm putting my store on 35% off tonight. I'm totally out of room. I work every day and it doesn't make a dent. It needs to get out of here.
