I started my account with updating.ai on Sept. 8. Today I'm seeing ChatGPT as my #1 traffic source (and Gemini at #6). That was fast!

I went to a networking dinner meeting tonight and a guy was there who said he works with lots of lawyers and he sets up the LLM.txt file in their sites. He didn't go into the particulars, but I asked him what he charges and he said $1,000. Also said he's quite busy. And he prefers Wordpress sites. (I didn't ask why, except I think it's a good qualifier that says they probably have the login for their website.) While I was talking to him, another person there came up to us and joined in the convo. She said she's been getting a lot of traffic from AI but isn't sure why. She manages a store that's part of a franchise and they have a central IT dept that manages everything. The guy went to her site and didn't find an LLM.txt file there, so he was puzzled. He said he simply looks for an LLM.txt file and if they don't have one he offers to create one, and they start getting more traffic within a day or two. He said it's a really easy sale because everybody seems to have heard about it except ... SEO providers, who dismiss it as some kind of fad. Go figure.

Had a call with a plumber that's in our local business group. They dropped out of the map pack and didn't know why, even though they just got a new site built about 6 months ago. That immediately triggered an alarm, so I did a site audit. Turns out the web guy they hired had no idea what SEO was and basically had wiped them out. She was NOT happy, especially since it's going to take a new site that's done right. What I did do is offered to get her going with AI SEO so she could start getting faster results, cheaper, while we work on a site plan. We bundled our automated reviews, the NFC/QR cards, and Updating's middle tier for $197/month. It was a no-brainer for her, so she signed up. Easiest sale ever!

Did we ever get a solution for GHL based sites?

So my brother and I have been prospecting and networking, and the idea of showing up in AI - Siri, Alexa, etc really gets these companies going. My brother talked to a car detailing company, and when he told him about showing up in chat, the guy whipped out his phone and asked Siri for the best car detailer in his area. He was shocked that it recommended a competitor that had closed a year ago, and he wasn't mentioned. He literally sold himself on the call. We're gonna be onboarding him in the next couple days. I talked with a plumber this morning who's dropped out of maps over the last couple months and desperately needs quick wins. I told her about the AI SEO and she's fired up about it - we'll leverage that into longer term offerings. Don't sleep on this stuff - it's hot!
