I debated for quite a while whether I should make this post weeks ago, because I feel it is important to be transparent and hear from other members who may have had a similar or completely different experience. I'm a single father raising three daughters. Every financial decision I make affects more than just me. Before joining the Elite program, I spent considerable time asking questions, seeking clarification, and making sure I understood exactly what I was investing in because a $4,997 investment was significant for my family. Prior to enrolling, I expressed concerns about a previous business arrangement where I experienced substantial financial loss. Because of that experience, I specifically asked detailed questions about support, coaching, strategic oversight, channel management, timelines, and what responsibilities would fall on me versus the team. Based on the written and verbal information I received before enrolling, I moved forward believing I would receive meaningful guidance, strategic oversight, and ongoing support throughout the channel-building process. I took a leap of faith and moved forward. Over the past month, however, my experience has been different from what I expected. In practice, I have personally handled much of the channel management process, including content strategy input, uploads, SEO optimization, descriptions, quality control, revisions, publishing oversight, and other responsibilities that I believed would largely be handled by the team. In addition, coaching sessions have been postponed multiple times, communication has been limited, and the level of involvement and guidance I expected has not materialized in the way I understood it would prior to my enrolling and as was promised. To be clear, this post is not about whether a channel succeeds or fails. I fully understand there are no guarantees in business, YouTube, or entrepreneurship especially having been an entrepreneur for many years. My concern is whether the services and support delivered align with the expectations that were created before I made the investment.

I agree with Chris. When we were on the Discord platform, there was more fellowship, people were very helpful when you reached out, and the 1-on-1 calls with the coaches made you feel more confident in creating content and understanding the stats because you could get answers to the things that stopped or slowed your progress. Unfortunately, I had to step away for personal reasons. I donโ€™t know what prompted the move to a different platform. I do hear what youโ€™re saying and understand your investment concerns. While I have no children, my income is limited, as well. I donโ€™t feel you made a bad decision. I do feel perhaps that you were blind-sided by the academy platform transition as was I coming back to the academy. The platform move hasnโ€™t gone as smoothly as hoped. Post transition, it does take time to get things back up and running. The information we receive in the Omari Academy is awesome. The coaching calls look like theyโ€™re coming back. Communication channels are improving. It sounds like you already have some experience in managing your YouTube channel(s). The channel reviews are coming back slowly. But theyโ€™ll be back. And Iโ€™m prayerful, everything will come back better than ever. Hang in there with us.
