Begin the 7-Day Micro-Homestead Starter Challenge in the Classroom. Choose your path: 🌿 Garden — flowers, herbs, roses, planting, soil, raised beds 🍞 Kitchen — cottage baking, preserving, seasonal meals 🏡 Home — homemaking rhythms, cozy spaces, simple routines 🧵 Studio — sewing, handmade projects, creative seasonal living Then introduce yourself in the Community tab using this sentence: “I’m choosing the ___ path, and one small project I’d love to begin is ___.” You don’t need land, experience, or a perfect home. Today has been a day to rest. My grandson and I spread mulch and cleaned gutters yesterday. Not my idea of fun, but one of necessity. I did shoot some pictures and I’ll share a few but I won’t overwhelm you. Here’s to the beginning of this fun and educational community. I believe we will all get a lot of ideas.

I’m choosing the garden path, and one small project I’d love to begin is spreading mulch over my flower beds. That’s right folks, I’m Tawnya’s Mom! This is going to be so fun seeing ya’lls posts! She has amazing things to share, I learn new things all the time. I feel I have a small part in her love of flowers as I love my garden areas. I’ve spent the past month planting flower pots, adding new flowers and plants to my beds. My sweet Grandson tore out some grass so I could increase my love of flowers and I went SHOPPING for new plants, because I NEEDED them!! My husband rolls his eyes. But says nothing when I have a shovel in my hands. Smart man, brilliant actually. Just before the winds started we trimmed trees, three trips to the dump. I don’t love the dump….. 🤮 I really appreciate Tawnya for starting this group. It should be great fun seeing all your posts!! Looking forward to posts with pictures! I’ll post some when I can figure it out. Tawnya HELP. Now if you haven’t tried Tawnya’s baked goods and you are nearby……oh friends you are missing out!! Her scones and muffins are scrumptious!!!
