70/90 CEO OF WEALTH: Retirement Should Inspire You Not Scare You
I did this yesterday but it didn't post so here it it now. š Welcome70/90-day CEO of Wealth runs. Wow, 20 days to go! How exciting for everybody! Um, today's all about retirement should inspire you, not scare you. I also am a strong believer that if your goals aren't big enough that they scare you a little, then they're not⦠they're not good at⦠their goals are not real, goals for growth. Retirement should not scare you. That is for sure. But your goals? If that don't scare you a little, then they're not⦠they're not the right goals to give you the growth, take you to the next level. So, just be clear on those two things, because I know sometimes we hear things⦠Didn't she say this? So, I just wanted to be clear on that. Your retirement should be peaceful when you think about it, should be easy when you think about it it shouldn't be hard or scary. Because the reason it's scary is becauseā¦You have fear that you're going to outlive your savings, or that you're not going to have enough, Or that you're notā¦you're not building a legacy the way that you want to. And, you know, fear-based retirement thinking actually keeps us small. And the vision-based retirement thinking, It makes you magnetic. I am going to ask you to create a future that pulls you forward. Andā¦let's talk about something most people won't say out loud. Retirement is supposed to feel like a reward. But for so many of people over 60, it feels like a cliff. Feels like you get to that cliff, and⦠The only option is to jump. Because you're asking yourself, is this a cliff of, will I have enough? Who will⦠who will I be without work? There's a lady on TikTok, actually, I listen to her all the time, and she said, You know, her last video that I was watching yesterday says, you know, retirement isā¦no different, you've still got the same chores to do, it just takes you longer. You have a day to think about it, and a day to do it. And instead of rushing and getting everything done like we do when we're working and doing it before work after work, weekends. She says, you look at the basket, washing basket, go, oh, I cannot wait another day, and it probably can.
