🎥 Skool News. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
full recording is in the Vault, as all previous news issues for your convenience. let's start with the good, shall we? being on Skool really helps make admin/accounting part easy. Skool folks reminded us, and it's totally true. being a Merchant of Record, they are taking a huge burden off your shoulders. you can research what "MoR" means - here is Stripe's version of it. either way, it helps. and the bigger you grow, the bigger is the benefit. more good things: "free trial locked content" and "freemium plans on sign-up" are coming up. two thumbs up. great features - hopefully, will help facilitate conversions from free to paid. now, the bad 😈 kinda tired of hearing about those who are making it. would be great to learn the full picture - charts, graphs, numbers. or maybe look at someone who is struggling and how they can do better. "Skool of the week" and all other outliers are not gonna help me, you, and the other block to improve. actually, i & some of my friends on Skool are seeing the trend of ppl turning their community PAID because of the Skool news. and the only thing they are gonna get is DISAPPOINTMENT. cause unless you have a massive audience outside Skool, starting a paid community is not gonna work. well, now the ugly 👿 new Skool games. it's gonna be an ongoing MRR competition. that's it. they've introduced new level - ☘️ $3k/mo. good. but overall, they still focus on MRR as the one and only truth in business. okay. got it. and then, you can only get to the "exclusives" club if you get $100k+ MRR. let me ask you - what percentage of community owners are going to get $100k+ MRR? let me answer - very small percentage. probably less than 1%. so, the reality is - forget it. forget about Skool games. work toward your goal, your strategy, and your plan. everything else is just the noise. p.s. no doubt, my next goal is to hit $10k/m. but i do not expect it to be just MRR and/or just from one community. but now, more than ever, the 🚀 emoji is less attractive to me.

Ever since they added "Growth Boost" in my Skool community, I have had 3 people asking to join, and all of them are spammers! My community is free, so I don't think I need Growth Boost. What do you think, @Lidia Axe ?

@Lidia Axe, not as good as when I was actively posting in other Skool groups. Members = 47; engagement= 68% down from 79% Visitors = 72; Conversion = 9.7% down from 11.4% I need to bring more traffic. Here is my About Page cover that I am thinking of replacing what is in there now. I didn't post it yet. What do you think?

UPDATE: welcome to join us at 23:00 Jerusalem (9pm UK/ 4pm New York) for 10 mins to set the goal i currently have 2,204 emails in all my inboxes, combined. it's a disaster for me. i love inbox zero. but, i was busy with business and personal, it got out of hand. i know the only way to do it, is in one very loooong go, after hours. so, i am looking for an accountability partner(s). who wants to: clean up - email - desktop - files... anything, really. just clean up. we'll use the same process as we did with @Carin Chantel for podcast editing: - zoom call at 23:00 Jerusalem (9pm UK/ 4pm New York) for 10 mins to set the goal - check-in in the comments, under this post, every top of the hour with the progress - celebratory comment once you finish! it is gonna be about 2 hours for me give or take. the system i use is "one-touch" and 3D: - do it - delete it - defer it (put it in the to-do list) in the end, i get it inbox zero. anyone?
Show me yours, i'll show you mine 🤫

Okay, I'm a little late to the hourly updates. I was juggling this AND The Alchemy Lab at the same time! 😄 But here's my win for yesterday: 📧 Inbox Zero: from 4,000+ emails. Yes. Four. Thousand. 😅 I used Claude Cowork to tackle it systematically, and I'll be honest, it wasn't a straight line. There was trial and error, a few "wait, that's not right" moments, had to tell Cowork to check its response even though it sounded so believable, and a lot of learning along the way. But by the end? Clean inbox. Clear head. And a step-by-step process I now know works. So of course… I'm turning it into a short course for my APH community. 😊 Sometimes the best lessons come from doing the messy work yourself first. 🙌

@Lidia Axe yes, I am getting it ready.
Two Farmers Walked Into a Market
let me tell you a story. all characters are fictional. any resemblance to real people is purely educational. === two farmers were invited to sell their harvest at a big community market. the organizer took care of everything. the ads. the foot traffic. the setup. the crowd. all the farmers had to do was show up with their best produce. === farmer #1 showed up on market day. set up the stand. gave out samples. great produce, honestly. then packed up and left. a few days later, the organizer checked in. "How was it?" "eh. i only got one customer. doesn't feel worth the effort." to their credit — they added, "maybe I'm looking at this wrong." yeah. maybe. === farmer #2 also showed up on market day. also had great produce. but here's the thing. farmer #2 came before the market day. helping set up the stalls. handing out flyers around town. talking to other vendors. hyping the event. on market day? farmer #2 didn't just sell from their stall. they walked around. bought from other farmers. cheered people on. stayed till closing. after market day? farmer #2 kept showing up. still walking the aisles. still building relationships. still there. few days after, farmer #2 sent the organizer a message: "hey — someone from your market just became a repeat customer. thank you." not a complaint. a thank you. === now let me be real with you. farmer #1 isn't a bad person. they're a great expert. talented. skilled. but they treated the market like a vending machine. insert presentation → receive customers. that's not how it works. that's not how relationships work. that's not how any of this works. farmer #2? they're going to crush it. not because they're more talented. because they understand something most people don't: you don't harvest where you haven't planted. and when someone shows up like that? with that energy? with that generosity? i will move mountains for them. every door i can open — open. every connection i can make — made. that's the real ROI of showing up. it's not in the session. it's in what happens after.

What a great story! The difference between the two farmers isn't the quality of their produce. It's that one came to sell, while the other came to serve. It reminds me that In the long run, the people who contribute to the community often become the people the community supports.

🚨 Last day to join Community Income Mastermind at $7
Today is the last day to join Community Income Mastermind for $7/month. Tomorrow it goes to $17. Not a big deal. But I did not want you to miss it. Why $7? Ppl ask me this all the time. Not because that's what it's worth. I think it's way more than that. And by the end of 2026, it is going to be $97 - that's the goal. The reason is I'm still building it out — and I want you in the trenches with me, helping shape it. I recorded a full video walkthrough of the classroom so you can see exactly how everything is organized before you join. No surprises. Either way, if you don't like, full refund - no questions asked! Still not sure? I'll tag the folks who are already inside. Ask them. Or me. What are you waiting for?

@Lidia Axe
This week
A real win this week has simply been watching people lead by example. I want to give flowers to @Lidia Axe for being a powerful reminder that consistency, encouragement, authenticity, and showing up with intention still matter. In a world where so many people are trying to be seen, there’s something refreshing about someone who focuses on genuinely helping others grow, connect, and move forward. What stands out to me most is not just the work itself, but the energy behind it. The willingness to pour into people. The willingness to create space for others to learn, sharpen themselves, and step into greater confidence. That type of leadership leaves a lasting impact. Sometimes your biggest win is not just what you accomplish personally, but who inspires you to keep elevating. This week reminded me that being around the right people matters. Seeing others operate with purpose, excellence, and generosity challenges all of us to level up in our own way. So thank you, Lidia Axe, for being a great example of leadership, community, and encouragement in action. The influence is seen and appreciated more than you probably realize.
