Bank of America account approved with ITIN 🎉
I tried opening Bank of America before and it didn't work. Couldn't verify me online, they asked me to go to a branch with 2 forms of ID. This time I try again. And it worked. What I did: I opened Advantage Plus Banking and Advantage Savings. During the application, I selected U.S. resident alien even though that's not technically my status. The account opened instantly - well, it went into review first, and after about 1 hour I got the approval email. No identity verification was asked this time. I also applied through the USD 500 cash bonus offer. The only thing I changed this time: I applied from my desktop using the Classroom setup with the USD 1 data proxy.

@Razzaque D.m When I submitted this time I used the same email but had to create a new username because the old one was not available anymore. After I submitted I got an email saying they were processing my application. After about 1 hour I got the approval email

DP: AmEx Hilton Honors approved (new ITIN, prior US credit history)
Sharing my DP in case it helps anyone: Previous cards: - HSBC Premier ($9K, Oct. 2021) - opened without ITIN as an overseas Premier client - BofA Customized Cash Rewards ($13K, Jan. 2022) - opened without ITIN - Chase Freedom Rise ($1K, Mar. 2026) - opened as soon as ITIN received Applied for the AmEx Hilton Honors online on Mar. 9. The following day, was asked to upload passport and ITIN letter. Approved on Mar. 17 for $10K credit limit. Card shipped on Mar. 23 but never received at US address, chatted to request a new one on Apr. 14 and they overnighted it via FedEx. Received at US address today, Apr. 15! Already added to PayPal and Apple Pay via the AmEx app with no issues.

Thanks for sharing. Very helpful DP. Do you still have the HSBC card? What was the process for opening it in US? I just opened HSBC Premier in my home country and I am planning to leverage it to open one in US too.

@Isabel G Thanks, this is very helpful. So in this case, is it also necessary to have HSBC credit card in my home country to get one in US? Or only having Premier account is enough?
Paystubs are live, direct deposits next
StubSign is now live. A few weeks ago I mentioned the Direct Deposit and Paystubs section was coming to the Classroom. Today the paystub side is ready. The tool is called StubSign. If you are already Premium and Level 4, you can go set up your account and start using it now. What StubSign does If you own a US LLC/Business and pay yourself, you need proper income documentation. Not a spreadsheet. Not a transfer screenshot. Not something you have to explain. StubSign gives you earning statements tied to your LLC, with pay periods, gross pay, net pay, employer info, and pay history. Why this matters When someone asks for proof of income, it helps to have something structured and consistent that matches your banking statements and earnings. Of course, every bank, landlord, or issuer has its own review process and may ask for additional documents, but this gives you a much cleaner starting point. How this fits with direct deposits The paystub side is now live. The direct deposit side is separate. StubSign handles the documentation, your earning statements, pay history, and proof of income. The actual direct deposit methods and step-by-step guides are being added in the Classroom. One gives you the record. The other moves the money. They work together. Who has access right now • Premium members with Level 4 and above If that is you, go to stubsign.com and sign up using the same email linked to your Skool account. If you are not Level 4 yet, stay active in the community. Post, comment, ask questions, and check the leaderboard. Why I pushed this A lot of people have the same problem: they have a US LLC, they are making money, but they do not have a clean way to document income properly. This probably solves that part. StubSign is live now, and more is coming next. If you try it, drop feedback in the comments. See you in comments, Ain - Cloud Resident.

This is wonderful. UI looks very clean and signup was easy. I already made one test paystub and everything was smooth.
Capital One changed a lot
Capital One has been changing fast over the past year, and a lot of people are still using old assumptions when they apply. What worked a few months ago may already be outdated. Here are 5 changes worth paying attention to: 1) Family rules got tighter If you get one Venture card, you may get locked out of bonuses on other Venture cards for 48 months. That means picking the wrong card first could cost you another welcome bonus for 4 years. 2) Referrals got more aggressive On Capital One Shopping, some people are reportedly seeing USD 80 referral payouts, and the referral cap may have increased from around USD 500 to USD 1,900. That usually signals they are pushing harder for user growth. 3) More transfer partners were added Capital One added Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways, and I Prefer Hotel Rewards. That brings the total to 22 transfer partners, which makes Capital One points more flexible than before. 4) Most cards are moving toward the Discover Network Debit cards and credit cards have already started shifting. If that keeps expanding, the network side of Capital One could look pretty different going forward. 5) Lounge access got worse Guest access is now USD 45 per visit. Authorized users no longer get lounge access unless you pay USD 125 per year per user, or hit very high spending thresholds like USD 75,000 per year for some access benefits. So yes, the perks are getting weaker in some areas. If you are building from scratch with an ITIN, limited file, or thin US credit history, card order matters more than people think. A lot of people focus only on approval. But the real move is to think about: • which product to start with • which bonus you may block yourself from later • whether the points are still worth it for your travel goals • whether the lounge benefits still justify the annual fee Bottom line Capital One is still relevant, but the rules, perks, and strategy are changing. If you are in Cloud Residents and looking at Capital One, make sure you choose the right first move.

Finally got my Apple Card after trying for so long
I’ve been trying to get this card for a long time and finally received it today. My ITIN starts with 94X and I got approved for USD 3,000. Just sharing this as a DP in case anyone else with ITIN is still trying. Hope this helps someone.
