Hi TEAM! My name is Owyn and I come from a real estate background where I am currently acquiring commercial multifamily and self storage properties. While learning the multifamily/storage game, I realized that the processes to acquire properties are strikingly similar to purchasing businesses. From initial engagement with LOI, negotiations, contract execution, due diligence, debt and equity stack funding, it’s easy to grasp the familiar concepts and apply it to a different asset class. That being said, I’ve decided to diversify my portfolio by adding cash flowing businesses. I hope to add value to the group through my experiences, training, and my network. Reciprocally, I plan to learn the nuances of business acquisitions, learn how to evaluate business, understand how to add value in each deal, find out how to efficiently source deal flow, how to build a team, improve management skills, scale, grow, and network.
