The inspiration to write a book that will touch other lives and hearts is an amazing gift. Even so, it takes countless hours of dedication and discipline. Indie authors like you and I don't often gain great monetary wealth from our passion, and we must wear many hats along the way to turn out an excellent book. The blessings of being able to hone our skills as writers go far beyond mere monetary gain, however, as we are given the great opportunity to reach the world with something that is uniquely ours to give, and to see others benefit from this gift. Hello everyone, am a new member here, am i welcomed here

I am a retired and disabled Veteran. Lately I have written a few stories that focuses on soldiers dealing with PTSD. My question is how do I promote them without missing my target audience? To be clear they are regular stories that happen to have Vets doing Vet things.
