I finally hit a swim goal!
For the past year I’ve been trying to get my 400m under 8mins and under 2:00/100m. Last week I came so close, doing it in 8:04, this morning I finally got there !! Now to make it consistent !

“Which tools should I use?”
My favorites: Pull buoys and kick boards!! Why? Kick boards allow you to practice all kicks with the correct head alignment and allows you to find your rhythm for that specific stroke without your arms. Practicing kicks allow you to also practice your correct breath timing Pull buoys allow you to isolate the arms acting as if you’re pulling extra weight. This creates muscle growth and allows the stroke to be much easier when you put your kicks back into the mix.
