Do You Know What a Rollover Is??
This is the importance of starting from the beginning!!! Even though you think you have everything “down”, in order for long lasting and fantastic technique, this starts with the BASICS!!! Can you do a backfloat for 10 seconds without your legs falling? Do you know what a rollover is? Rollovers are a gateway and enables perfect side breathing during the freestyle stroke. The freestyle stroke is like skiing. It’s easy to start but it’s extremely difficult to master!!! That’s why I love to teach it the most!! Don’t sell yourself short and only do half the course! Really “dive” into all the resources!!! You GOT this!

THE FOOD WE CONSUME MAKES UP OUR PHYSIOLOGY!!! This new series will take place this Saturday, 2/14 at 9:30 am! Do you love to snack? Do you love candy and ice cream daily or weekly? This could be hurting your swimming sets!! Think you could cook a proper meal for that someone special that is so delicious and will still help you hit your goals?? We go in depth about recipes, whole foods, and macronutrients versus micronutrients! Knowledge is power. The more you can help yourself out of the pool, the better your sessions will be in the pool!

“Which tools should I use?”
My favorites: Pull buoys and kick boards!! Why? Kick boards allow you to practice all kicks with the correct head alignment and allows you to find your rhythm for that specific stroke without your arms. Practicing kicks allow you to also practice your correct breath timing Pull buoys allow you to isolate the arms acting as if you’re pulling extra weight. This creates muscle growth and allows the stroke to be much easier when you put your kicks back into the mix.
