The Transformation Roadmap
Step One: Direction Before we can identify what’s blocking your potential we must first understand what you want. Your goals are not the end all be all, but they are extremely important so that we know what direction you want to take your life. Our goals are not measurements of worth; they are north stars that guide you toward your life’s desire. Step Two: Why? Why is this important to you? There’s a deeper meaning beneath everything we do and everything we want. If you are going to fulfill your potential, you must understand what’s driving you. Because this journey will require you to face the parts of yourself that you don’t like and do things that you don’t want to do. But when you know WHY you’re doing this, you’ll be connected to something much more powerful than your fears. You’ll be connected to a purpose. Step Three: Honest Audit What’s the truth. We all have patterns and realities that we don’t want people to find out. Whether it’s our friends, families, or partners, there are shadows in all of our stories. We must be willing to look at these shadows and bring them to light if we are going to break through the glass ceiling we’ve placed on our lives. Step Four: Evidence To create the life we want, we must become the kind of person who deserves it. Our brains don’t care about what we want to become. It only cares about consistency. You are constantly creating meaning in everything you do, see, and hear. The game changer is becoming intentional with the meaning you attach to the things going on around you. Self-signaling by taking small actions that reflect the kind of person you want to become is how you build evidence that you ARE that kind of person. This is no longer about wanting it’s about being. Step Five: Progress Keeping score. The most addictive thing to the brain is progress. To create lasting habits that support the life you deserve you must track your progress. The key to this is to gamify your growth. Creating a system that is not only simple to follow but fun to do is going to change everything about your life.

Could My Mother’s Final Words Be Exactly What You Need?
Gentlemen, I woke up today with something on my heart. Heavy... on my heart. Like you, I've been struggling to check off all of the boxes – holidays, travel, gifts, expectations – the ones that have been put on you and, the heaviest of them all, the ones you've put on yourself. If I had to grade my performance recently, I'd give it a C-. But this got me thinking about something my mother shared with me in her final days. My mother, Donna, lost her battle with cancer two years ago, and in the days leading up to her passing, she shared some amazing stories of her life. So many I had never heard before – her biggest mistakes, her biggest wins, and her biggest regrets. So much I didn't know because I knew her as Mom. But Donna was a vibrant, funny, gifted artist and fiercely loyal. To a fault, according to her. Her messages were honest and without fluff in those days, and the main theme was this: Your potential is dictated by your courage, not your abilities. In my mother’s final weeks, she began to share with me her biggest regrets. She had many things she was very proud of and believed in her soul that she lived an honorable life. But when she was facing what she knew was the end, she began to share the things that she regretted NOT doing in her life. Each one had to do with expressing her fullest self. She was an artist who stopped painting and a singer who stopped singing. She loved love but settled for a romantic-less marriage because at least he wasn’t abusive. In her final note to me, she asked that I live my life to the fullest and not allow the fear of other people’s opinions to keep me from the greatest gift I have been given – life. I struggle with this daily, much like you. It’s hard to live with the clarity of your final days, but we both know this advice is true. Perhaps the deepest truth there is. The truth we all claim to be searching for, but searching isn’t really what we’re doing. We’re running. Running away from what we know, from our gut feelings, and from our truth because we’re afraid to live a life of full expression. We fear other people will reject us.

My first win šŸ»
I'm proud of this community. I've been a little resistant to say the least about stepping up and creating a men's group. Fears of not being "man enough" or who am I to lead these men when I've still got so much to make right in my life. But this is me leading by example and doing something that scares the shit outta me haha

Men that are great aren’t men who are immune to fear or doubt or excuses. They simply do the thing regardless.
Self-Sabotage?
Good morning men, I'm going to focus a lot of time on Self-Sabotage: What it is and How to break free from. But first, let me ask you, is this something that you have struggled with? If so, what are some behaviors or habits that are currently holding you back from something you want to accomplish?

For sure. Mental self preservation to avoid the imaginary dangers of the unknown. Which is problematic when all that is known is pain and failure.
