Two Friends - I Need Tomorrow (EMBER Remix)
Looking to wrap this one up! Any final notes before I send this off? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/sebnwug2sgepymds3kcn5/TWO-FRIENDS-I-NEED-TOMORROW-EMBER-Remix-V1.wav?rlkey=gv1rjavi7tunrdm81evu1lbab&st=vokcw920&dl=0

Yo! Typing as I'm listening: 1. I think maybe the percussion/claps could be a bit sharper and cut through the mix on the verse. 2. I really like the harmonized leads in the second half of the first drop! 3. Fake out drop sounds cool! Feels the tiniest bit awkward.... can't put my finger on it though. Otherwise this is super sick man, I can totally see this being an official 2F remix.
Be Kind Remix
Pushing for this to be my first release loving the idea so far for the mix Im hitting target lufs but it still sounds a little quite on some sound systems so I have been kind of lost there let me know anything 🙏

Yo! Typing as I'm listening: 1. The vocal having sidechain at the beginning with none of the elements being sidechained feels a bit off. 2. Maybe add some reverb or delay to the vocal to let is breathe a bit more in the mix? 3. Maybe add some percussion in the intro/verse, the buildup is a bit abrupt when it goes from 0 percussion to a buildup. 4. Maybe add more automation during the buildup (filters, etc.) 5. Drop sounds full! I think that the hats/percussion could cut through the mix a bit more some compression/saturation should help. 6. Maybe try adding more elements in the second verse? Feels a bit empty at times. 7. Second buildup loses energy after the snare roll, maybe its supposed to be a "fake drop" but feels a bit awkward. 8. Like the actual fake drop! 9. Maybe try adding something a little different to the second drop? 10. Overall, I think the song has lots of potential! I think there are small changes that can be made to really bring this song to the next level. Good stuff!
HAPPY 1 MONTH TO QUIET HOURS
Man! What a month... almost 200 members and we are just getting started. I want to thank every single one of you for joining and entrusting me with leading this. It has been the most fulfilling month. As stated in the intro vid, the top users, in terms of points, get the choice of a few different things that will help them with their project. Since it is month 1 and I am extremely grateful for everyone, I am going to be honoring the top 2 instead of just 1! Congratulations to @Eli Levine and @Marc Shoals !!! You guys have been showing up consistently every single day and doing it SELFLESSLY.. helping your peers. THANK YOU! Private message me to lock in what you want out of the following 1) Detailed feedback on a song or demo of your choice 2) 30 minute, 1v1 consultation about your artist project 3) 30 day action plan for the month ahead BIG LOVE TO EVERYONE FOR MAKING THIS THE FASTEST GROWING COMMUNITY AND CLASSROOM IN ALL OF DANCE MUSIC. HERE'S TO A LIFETIME OF GROWTH AND NETWORKING!!! -Alex

Original Demo - Stay The Night
Made this one a while ago. I like it, and I feel like I've got a good amount of it somewhat locked in. First half of the drop still feels a bit off/empty to me, would love to get some thoughts on that. Also currently have a vocal chop as the main hook, not sure if I should keep or try to write a full topline over it!

Yo! Listening as I'm typing: 1. Love the pluck sounds and the melody that it plays! 2. Mix sounds great 3. Drop is cool, I love how you let the melody breathe. 4. Breakdown after the drop is super sweet! 5. I really really like all of the percussive elements you add, groove is fire. 6. Think the second drop could have a bit more variation to it, pretty much the same as the first drop (which I love). With the attention span of listeners these days, it becomes important to do so haha. 7. I feel as though our sounds are somewhat similar, and would love to collab sometime!
New WIP (Stutter House?) ID
Hi all, would love to hear your thoughts on this so far. Working on my second song ever and I think I have the foundations for first build up -> first drop -> second build up, but definitely think the drop needs some more energy when it first hits, but I can't quite figure out how yet. Extra info is I've done a first pass at mixing, side chained the kick + clap (do you all usually do this for claps? Maybe it's situational), and created most of these sounds in Serum 2. Appreciate the insight here! - Leo (Giusony)

Yo typing as I'm listening: 1. I think the high end on the percussive elements are a tiny bit too sharp. Not sure if you have a high shelf on them but i would pull it down a bit. 2. I would find a different kick sound, too subby and not punchy enough. 3. There isn't much distinction between the buildup and the drop. 4. I would look into sidechaining your elements to the kick, this will help with the mix and give the song more of a "pumping" effect. 5. The stutters are dope! Feel as though they might be a little bit overused? I would keep the verses more static so that during the drop your stutters can really shine. Hope this helps!
