3d printing / cnc
Not sure if you guys are into 3d printing. I just started playing with cad and 3d printing. I want to get into making some on the cnc but I want to design and program the stuff myself so I can make changes on the fly. Both of these I had all the help with lol. But I am learning

@Terry Bennett It is actually not easier unless it is something that is very complicated. You would still have to CAD the pieces as the 3D scanners only provide a mesh. It looks easier than it is. I stopped doing 3D scanning for people because they thought the scan done in an hour or two would give them CAD files they can just modify, which is untrue! It is good amount of work to get it to a point to even 3D print, never mind modifying and adding stuff.

VE rebuilt/upgrade
Thoughts on a machinist doing the rebuilt/upgrade on a VE pump? I have had it apart partially before. Just being north of the border, sending it to Ratman would take forever and $$$... Thoughts?

What is needed to bench them? I guess a motor to turn them and supply and return and so on?
