I'm curious to see if anyone truly knows this...
Why do you go to the gym? Want to lose weight or gain muscle. Of course! Now dig deeper. Why do you feel that way? Is it self hate? Insecurity? Help your mental health? Something else? Where did it stem from? Negative self talk? Someone made fun of you? A different alternative? Why do I ask? INTROSPECTION (the deliberate examination of one's own conscious thoughts, feelings, and motives) To me, this is the most important part of anything we do. The WHY. If we don't have a good enough reason, we wouldn't want to do something. Also, if we can improve our behavior (inside and out), we can grow, not only physically, but mentally too. Please answer the questions above honestly and spark discussion with another person. We all likely have something in common, and can definitely help each other out.

When I look into it, my gym journey definitely started with negative self talk, but it was also sourced from realizing the reality of how weak i was physically and mentally for my age (19 when i started). I wanted to take steps into maturing, and a big part of that for me was physical maturity, I wanted to look the part as well as play the part, yk like actually look like im an adult lol. Now, 4 years into it, I feel like I train to “be ready”. To be able to be that guy that can lift the couch for somebody, or to carry someone if I need to, or to lift/move/help in anyway i can using my physical abilities, that way my dependence on others can decrease and instead i can help myself and others by my own doing. it’s also why im into sprint/stamina training again and will very soon get into MMA and even weapon training. p.s it’s also just really cool to get jacked and be fast and be able to fight and use a gun
Training other people
Can you guys give me advice on training my girlfriend? It can be frustrating at times but she really wants to do it

When my sister was getting into it i kinda just let her take the lead, with small advice here and there. i didn’t wanna knowledge bomb her and make it stressful. She would pick an exercise to do for a body part and i’d show her how to do it and then let her do it however much she wanted
Meal Recommendations!
What's your favorite recipe, and how did you find it? I have 2 answers First, this recipe proved impossible to make without a Ninja Creami, but there's a smoothie bowl recipe with frozen raspberries, blueberries, and protein powder, among other things I don't remember. My "actual" answer was inspired by the gas station by my house, believe it or not. I make my own breakfast sandwiches with keto bread, Dijon mustard, two fried eggs, chicken lunch meat, and some cheese. SOOOO GOOD. Going to add a meal recommendations section in the nutrition section of the classroom eventually and would perhaps use some of your ideas if you're cool with it. What are yours? Drop them below

My favorite during the cut was a simple round bottom steak and salted sweet potatoes, but overall at any time: Yellow rice seasoned with sazon, potatoes + kidney beans, boiled with chicken seasoned with adobo+sazon. It basically comes down to your classic “chicken and rice” but with a 🇵🇷 twist
Cutting hacks
What is everyone’s cutting hack? I’m talking something niche and not super normal. It could be some type of food, or workout. I used to wear an actual sweat shirt while doing cardio and having the heater on full heat for 10-20 min.

My honest (and kinda gross) hack is an extremely large tuna salad with not much to it other than light mayo and sugar free bbq sauce. The cals are extremely low, the protein is extremely high (50+ depending on the tuna), and it’s extremely filling and actually gets pretty gross towards the end of it, a true appetite crusher
Growth Happens Quietly First
Hook: Most people quit right before things start working. One thing I’m learning lately: Almost every skill, business, or community grows quietly before it grows publicly. The hardest part is staying consistent when nobody’s watching yet. A lot of people want visible results, but the real progress usually happens behind the scenes, through repetition, learning, failures, and small improvements nobody notices. But the people who keep showing up during that phase are usually the ones who win long term. Call to Action: What’s something you’re building or improving right now? Drop it below 👇

Ive recently been working on my expansion of knowledge in terms of thoughts and ways of thinking. It’s very interesting not only because it’s so applicable but because sometimes it’s so difficult to understand. it’s nice to have that development to where i’m not instantly comprehending everything, but rather I watch the dots connect over time as I read and learn more
