I'm curious to see if anyone truly knows this...
Why do you go to the gym? Want to lose weight or gain muscle. Of course! Now dig deeper. Why do you feel that way? Is it self hate? Insecurity? Help your mental health? Something else? Where did it stem from? Negative self talk? Someone made fun of you? A different alternative? Why do I ask? INTROSPECTION (the deliberate examination of one's own conscious thoughts, feelings, and motives) To me, this is the most important part of anything we do. The WHY. If we don't have a good enough reason, we wouldn't want to do something. Also, if we can improve our behavior (inside and out), we can grow, not only physically, but mentally too. Please answer the questions above honestly and spark discussion with another person. We all likely have something in common, and can definitely help each other out.

1. I want to be as muscular and lean as possible 2. I feel like if I'm not the best I can be physically, I'll be seen as weak or incapable. It's also healthy to workout as well 3. It stemmed from being a skinny, people pleasing, unconfident person. I was sick of feeling like I only exist in the shadow of other people. I wanted to be the best at something, and ended up finding a lifetime passion and career. Can anyone relate to this?

@Omar Elamin hell yeah bro you've grown so much and I'm proud of how far you've come. Also it is just plain cool to get jacked and be as useful as possible
Friendly Reminder...
Everyone (including myself) always forgets that they have a life to live too. It's okay to go off plan or skip every once in a while. Obviously don't eat ice cream 5 times a week, but also don't allow negative self talk allow you to think you're a failure because it's "bad". It's easy to overestimate what you can do in a day, and underestimate what you can do in a year. One mistake or deviation doesn't define you!

Can't seem to figure it out?
I'm sure we all know that fitness is complicated. Well, that's until you realize it really isn't. COMPLICATED SELLS. Imagine you have a hobby or passion you're into and you hear about a new way to optimize it for efficiency and best results. You'd want to listen, especially if it's about an area you're not read up on. A quick fix, a hack, a cheat code that confuses you. It happens all the time with fitness, and for all you know you could just be making it HARDER for progress to occur. "Don't eat carbs", "do X exercise", "do X routine for toned vs bulky muscle". It's everywhere. The best way to avoid it is to just not look for it. This is why it's important to gain experience and do what works for you. If something feels more complicated than it needs to be, there's probably a much easier way. Is there anything fitness related you feel like this about? Drop them below ⬇️

Introduce yourself!
Let's get to know each other! Answer these questions: 1. What's your name? 2. What got you into the gym? 3. Do you have a current struggle with fitness you're working through? 4. What's your favorite hobby (not fitness related)?

@Mayank Prasad Hey bro welcome, how do you enjoy the gym so far? Also, what's your favorite drawing you've done ? Like who did you draw?

@Mayank Prasad that's alright man, heavy weights will come later. I'm sure your friend told you but form, technique, and learning what you like is the most important right now. You got this! Plus those are two goated characters so hell yeah
Dietary Guide Going Up Today!
Although it's only the first half of it, if you go ahead and check it out alongside the Hypertrophy Guide, let me know if you like the longer form or short form style. Do you like the long form (to just throw on while you do something else) or short form (takes a little more attention but is more precise and easier to find each section)?
