Building Ecom with AI, Lessons & Questions for the Community
When I first started with AI, I imagined it could transform the way I worked but it took time to figure out how to actually apply it. The turning point came when I began using AI to support my eCommerce journey. From streamlining repetitive tasks to improving decision-making, it completely changed the way I approached growth. The more I see how AI and eCommerce connect, the more I realize it’s not just about tools—it’s about building smarter systems that actually work for you. I’d love to hear from everyone here: what’s the main reason you want to learn AI or eCommerce? what’s one way AI has made your work or business easier? what’s been the hardest part of applying AI to your workflow so far? Excited to learn from all your experiences

@Steve Martin Hi friend welcome here. Since you mentioned being new in the AI space, what’s the biggest challenge you’re facing right now?

@Steve Martin I can relate, Steve, I also started out feeling a bit unsure of direction. You can share what you’d like to focus on, and I’ll be glad to support however I can. What were you doing before AI, and what’s your goal in joining this community?
When the Shift Finally Clicks
I started out in AI automation, excited about the possibilities, but for a long time I couldn’t get the results I hoped for. It was frustrating to put in the effort and feel like something was missing. Later, I found myself shifting into a new path where things finally started to click. With the right structure and consistency, I began seeing the success I had been chasing from the beginning. Looking back, I realize both phases were necessary the struggles taught me persistence, and the breakthrough taught me execution. Here’s a question for everyone: What part of your journey taught you the most the struggles or the successes?

@Jay Preston That’s a powerful way to put it. What’s the biggest lesson the struggle has taught you personally?
From Struggles in AI to Breakthrough in Ecom
When I started in AI automation, I was excited but struggled to see results. No matter how much effort I put in, things didn’t click the way I expected. That changed when I shifted into eCommerce. With the right system in place, I finally began to see consistent success. It wasn’t easy, but it gave me the confidence and growth I was looking for. Now, I’m grateful to share and learn with like minded people who value progress as much as I do. I’d love to hear from everyone here: what motivated you to join this community? what’s been your biggest breakthrough so far? what’s the biggest roadblock you’re working on right now? Excited to grow together

@James Mick That’s such a powerful realization small consistent actions really do compound faster than people think. I’m curious though, what made you stick with it long enough to actually see the compounding kick in? Most people quit way too early.

@James Mick That’s such a real challenge scaling while still keeping things human. I’ve found that the sweet spot usually shows up in surprising ways depending on the system. How are you currently deciding what has to stay personal vs. what you feel confident automating?

Feedback Form & Email Reply Agent
Customer feedback is gold—but sorting it manually is painful. So I built a Feedback Form & Email Reply Agent with n8n: - Form Submission Trigger → Captures new feedback instantly. - AI Agent (Google Gemini) → Reads the response, classifies it (Complaint / Compliment / Future Update). - Merge + Switch → Routes the feedback into the right workflow branch. - Complaint Flow → Logged → Slack alert → Personalized email reply. - Compliment Flow → Logged → Auto “Thank You” email. - Future Update Flow → Logged → Slack update → “We’ll keep you posted” reply. ⚡ Outcome: Feedback → Organized.Team → Notified.Customers → Replied instantly.
